I think society has slowly trended towards less and less empathy, in a large part due to social media and influencers

I don't really know of any super popular people with deep levels of empathy. All the top streamers and political influencers are legitimate sociopaths

Sociopathy is appealing when times are hard because it enables doing anything to anyone for ones own gain

I think there is certainly an infinite supply of sociopathic men currently finding success. Theres Trump, Vance, Hegseth, Musk and an infinite ball of inceldom that makes up sites like twitter. I think most of these social media accounts on the right are so easily duplicatedthat their value will decrease and decrease. I think we are at peak hollow person right now.

My view is forward looking. I think more and more people will look toward people that have thoughts worth listening to rather than talking points. I don’t listen to anyone like Trump or Fuentes or Milo or Elon or candace owens or andrew tate or anyone like that. ever. There are many great empathetic voices to hear with huge audiences if you know where to look. I think after the Trump administration no one will want to read magaalphamalefreedom guy#816 hashtag women cant be me ‘s 10 year old accounts. Meanwhile the quieter kinder voices like me and those I pay attention to will just continue to grow.

I’m not super social media-y and I’m not on twitter. But Like I listen and read people who have big followings and none of those people are mentioned by anyone on twoplustwo ever.

Here is someone I follow. She mostly posts about fashion and movies, but her energy level is more like mine actually is sans 2p2 abusive poster critiques. I’m not alone- she has 1.74 million followers and interesting original thoughts. Not that I always agree with her but I follow people like that.

Sorry to burst your bubble but when I compare communist to capitalism I know in which country I would rather like to be .
And about the living standard ?
I let you guess which one achieve more …

Since you disagree degrees exist in capitalism I’m
Force to do the same for “communism “.

He didn’t mention communism, you did as whataboutism.

Why would the supreme court re open the marriage issue

Can't the SC just unequivocally say no we wont even consider this?

Yes .
Reread my last sentence …

If it’s not capitalism it’s something else .
And since degrees doesn’t exist in capitalism, well surely don’t come here and expect I will acknowledge there is degrees in socialism ….

Your very first line brought communism into the reckoning when we are only discussing capitalism.

Reread your own post.

I did .
I said there is degrees of capitalism , not all capitalism isn’t bad .
You disagreed ….

So ok , I disagree too about the existence of degrees of socialism , it is communist all the way .
All socialism/communism is bad -> talking like a true trumpster aren’t I ?

Every gay person with any common sense has always known we were the real target of the anti trans movement, we being everyone LGBTQ+.

Real marriage equality would be that married people aren't given more rights and benefits than single people.

But I actually would be thrilled to see Loving v Virginia overturned while Clarence Thomas is still alive (and preferably in prison).

Wonder if America will ever give income tax benefits to people that have more children like we're starting to see in other countries.

For most of my life they did do that with the personal deduction. Now that's gone, but there are some other tax subsidies given to many parents.

You get 3600 per kid credit + childcare tax credit 3K per kid + can easily max out your HSA and FSA with kid stuff that’s like at least 3500 tax free income+ access to 529s with tax free growth and limits so high you’ll never hit them.

A family with two kids is getting like 12K+ easy in tax breaks over a married couple with same income no kids.

Also literally every single small business owner puts their kids on the payroll and deducts that **** against their own income and it’s so commonplace that some people make LLCs just to do it.

And don’t forget that sweet sweet 1K TRUMP CASH - dunno if this actually happened?

Social media can be pretty great for special interest / hobby stuff that would struggle to be platformed on linear media that is often forced to go with more broad content, which also tends to make it risk-averse and difficult to disrupt.

So, that is one of the boons of social media. Another is that a lot of people who would struggle in more traditional-leaning media due to how they look, talk, dress or whatnot get to be brilliant entertainers and presenters in their own right.

Of course, even for special interests it is not without issues. An engagement-favoring algorithm puts no particular stock on things like quality or expertise, and it is cheaper and faster to churn out controversy and clickbait than it is to do due diligence and take the time to make sure you aren't wrong. So, even in the hobby-sphere or interest sphere, you see the struggle between quality and clicks.

On the top end of the scale, a heavy weighing of the biggest names within any given subject is also slowly morphing even social media presenters / personalities into a business model into something that is actually eerily reminiscent of the worst of linear media: Bland, sanitized, professional and superficially pleasant.

You can see where the guy jizzed himself because he was so pumped to shoot a priest in the face.

How did he not shoot the chick in the dinosaur outfit and just let her waltz by?

That's why using terms of capitalism and communism is just dumb - because no successful country practices either in its pure form. We don't want unfettered capitalism, and we don't want to go full commie, so let's just have a little of both, I guess.

How we operate within capitalism or communism matters far more to our success than which system we claim is better.

Of course .

What’s the entry like on Dunyainpedia?

“Black man bad. Police good.”?

lol what an idiot

--The replacement of Wikipedia, which has let itself be completely compromised by left wing activism, can't come fast enough.

Donald Trump is an American businessman who inherited has father's real estate business and has since had 6 of his hotel and casino companies file for bankruptcy. He has been convicted of 34 felony charges of falsifying business records and has a civil conviction for sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll. He was the 47th President of the United States of America.

That's roughly the order of relevance that that "grokipedia" article would look like if applied to Trump.

Are you actually impressed by this side-by-side?

Both entries are kinda dumb. Mentioning that GF was a convict right before mentioning that he was ****ing murdered by a police officer is kind of crappy. He’s only famous for being murdered by police officers, not his arrest record, so why would that be the first sentence?

by Rococo

It is a definite improvement if the goal is to get to what, where, when, why, how without too much subjective ideologically driven activism being inserted.
