President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

People complaining about losing money, while also complaining that Trump dumps the market and buddies buy the dip to profit.

I guess those aren't mutually exclusive, but if you're complaining about the latter, repeatedly, and rightfully so, you probably shouldn't also be losing money unless you're ******ed.

I would think it's more other people tanking the market on Trump's comments and not Trump himself setting out to move the market with his comments.

Idiot.

Gotta love members of the military missing a single paycheck and needing to stand in line at food banks

Come a long way since trump stood in front of a table of groceries

But hey at least he’s making millions upon millions hand over fist demanding fealty to the king. We so back

Funny how it’s just in 2025 trump really understand how markets works to double + his wealth in less then a year….
During his entire life he didn’t get it .

He certainly knows he was president at the time.

Trump is falling apart before our eyes. I think he might be done before Christmas, ithe decline is feeling that rapid.

Not when he posted that, he didn't. His mind is going, fast.

Feel free to apply whatever pretzel logic you want to tell us it's 4-D chess, but Occam's Razor is a better guide than any pathetic excuses that can be cooked up.

That theory would a lock if he hadn't lied about easily disproven things for the last 50+ years.

Nah, he's done. I'm guessing Vance is in the know, and will get Trump to invoke the Insurrection act soon. However, it'll all fall apart for the fascists as soon as it becomes totally clear Trump's brain finally went to mush.

Shame the orange cockwomble will not even know he's in a prison when the US finally has its traitor trials.

Sure. I'll requote this post in a few months when you're saying the same thing.

Lol at thinking a US president will ever see jail time, but a lot of his henchmen will...

It’s not the completely obvious lie about 1/6 that bothers me, it’s that every accusation is a confession.

‘BiDeN wEapOnIzeD tHe DOj’ said by the guy who explicitly demanded his AG weaponizes the DOJ and got exactly what he wanted

Claiming the FBI hid sleeper agents in the 1/6 riots, well, guess what’s coming

Go ahead. I'll probably be wrong, and won't care a tinker's cuss what you do 😃

Trump lies by projection .
He does it so he can do it afterwards knowing it’s a lie but those magatard think he speaks truth .
That’s the problem .

I'm curious as to what transpires when Trump departs the scene.

He's the alpha white supremacist right-wing fascist bully who derives his power from his political attractiveness to voters who want an alpha white supremacist right-wing fascist bully.

When he goes ..... I don't think it's as simple as handing things over to someone like JD Vance, despite the fact that Vance has been thoroughly vetted by the Project 2025 folks.

I suspect a competition for the crown. The masses who support Trump are blood thirsty.

As much as I am opposed to MAGA politically, I respect that they at least have a competitive process. Trump shredded characters like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio back in 2016 en route to his dominance over the party. Bernie has been far too polite on the other side. Bending the knee at critical moments.

If the Dems are going to offer any meaningful contrast as long as wealthy donors pick losers like Kamala Harris in a smoke filled room. They need a similarly competitive process.

Agree. They appear gutless. And standing on a 'we are not the GOP' platform is a terrible strategy.

Some are believers, some are corrupt, some are ignorant and some have a pathway to power / position that would largely be impossible with a sane president and administration.

What you had in Trump's first term was a fair amount of people who either believed the administration would be less like the shitshow that was Trump's campaign, and likely also some individuals who figured they could be onboard to pull the brakes if need be. The second time around, these people either aren't there, or they are relegated to positions where they have no influence.

Interestingly, you see some signs that the administration is at times vaguely aware of its own shortcomings. For example in reports that Hegseth has on occasion been frozen out of the inner circle in key decision-making. Which means they know he is an irresponsible idiot, they just don't want to do anything about it. Instead they solve it in the same murky and hazy ways that the administration generally operates, with little in the way of oversight or transparency.

I suspect there are going to be a lot of books written by insiders who are too fearful to speak up now.

Not sure its going to be quite that rapid, but the decline is very apparent and will be much more so by the midterms.

It will be funny to watch all the people who thought Biden was fit suddenly be able to spot mental decline, and vice versa for the Trump supporters. Just like corruption or weaponizing the justice system. Good times.

Now this ****ing moron is calling literally WATERGATE a hoax?

Maybe the fall of trump will comes from a kid since you cannot lean on adult to think like an adult shrug

Emperor has no clothes.

Summary

This story centers around an emperor who is excessively preoccupied with his attire, spending vast sums on new clothes. Two conmen arrive, claiming to weave a magical fabric that is invisible to the incompetent and foolish. Eager to identify who in his realm is untrustworthy or unintelligent, the emperor commissions an outfit from them. Despite seeing nothing, his advisors, fearing exposure as inept or unworthy, pretend to admire the fabric. The emperor, also worried, convinces himself of its beauty while the swindlers pocket his gold. During a grand parade, the emperor dons his 'new clothes,' and everyone applauds his invisible attire until a child's honest exclamation, pointing out the naked truth, unveils the collective deception. The tale humorously underscores themes of vanity, social conformity, and the power of truth from an unassuming source.

When kids will start telling their parents are stupid trump sounds , maybe they will have no choice but to acknowledge the evidence.

Conservatives should want there to be nobody home at the top of the fed govt.
