Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs

Well the bright side is that at least the Permanent Address likely is closer to West Flamingo which is a lot better than it being on East Flamingo.
ELD probably would have gotten into a fight with a neighbor after correcting his grammar if he lived in Southeast Vegas.
That's back when was a crusher and future retiree from poker. He was destroying his opponents for 11 bucks an hour the way he destroyed academia for almost 2 decades. But that was several years ago. He might even be break even in the last few years playing poker. Of course for the first year or two he convinced himself he was running bad.But even he can only believe his "bad run
Yeah, solid reflections agree on basically everything.
However the more i think about it and asking myself questions the more i dont get the pieces of the puzzle fitting together when it comes to Rice and hours/volume.
This is a guy that have boasted like a mad man about playing tons of hours and logging sick volume is his expertice. According to what i can recall from his earlier videos he claimed to have logged 2000 hour years, and even talking about himself doing a 2500 hour year.
And now even on his day off, sleeping in as long as he wants before go playing- it is obviously a real struggle for him to even complete a 3 hour session. Its just does not sit right with me. Sure,if what he says is true for example about 10-12 hour sessions is like an average session for him and having 2000 hour years like its nothing:how isnt these 50+ hours such a walk in the park for him even when not running hot?
Like,is all this talking about him being the king when it comes to logging hours mostly BS like we have detected on countless other stuff from this clown? Do we have any solid reason(s) to believe he is telling the truth on this stuff, when he has demonstrated he is capable of lying/covering up the truth on alot of stuff?
We could be in for some peak Rice content towards the end of the year,if he will struggle for real to get the hours he need for Gold. It could be funny if he ruminates with getting the hours and putting it on hold so he will have his back against the wall when the year is closing out.Especially if he is going into a losing streak,is going on tilt/having a meltdown similar to th
I think even funnier will be that he has a mild scramble to get the hours, and stops a few days before the deadline, having made the correct number of hours. The twist will be that MGM doesn't show all of his hours, even though according to the rubric he made it. Then his "friends" will be missing one by one, and he gets denied by the mean old boss at MGM Grand.
Will he have to close down the whole operation and move back to NY? Or stay at the address during days off?
I look forward to reading all about it ITT.
I've never had an issue at the DMV, somehow everyone there hates rice. Maybe they've seen his videos. This is a google calendar notification. This isn't from the DMV. Notice the who says unknown organizer. I'm thinking Rice is an idiot
I was thinking this was very likely the case. ELD making out like it's a conspiracy by the DMV to intentionally tell customers the incorrect appointment times so that they miss their appointment.
Also lol at his exaggeration horror story of his previous dealings with the DMV. One time they told him that he needed an additional ID or something and because of that he had an absolute meltdown and almost broke the door on his way out.
It's just like every other misunderstanding he has ever had in his life with employers or landlords. There is a 99% chance that he is the one who was in the wrong or just confused/mistaken but now he assumes that the whole system is designed to trip him up lol

That would be absolutely hilarious for sure if Rice somehow thought he had the correct amount of hours, only to find out in January that he lost the gold status.
He would be going on massive lifetilt if he got screwed like that, and i think we could see a meltdown similar to the RR Massacre where he instaleft Vegas for months.
Even the most mundane ELD video has several laughing points
* regales us with stories of past battles with the DMV
* ELD nevertheless defeats the LV DMV by being several steps ahead
* is absolutely sick and tired from his long gruelling MGM sessions. Even a 3 hour poker session is too much for him now that he's tasted a real income
* makes disgusting pasta dish but of course can't show the cooking process in the permanent address
* could be the first person in history to combine real parmesan cheese with revolting tinned sardines
That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there were several other laughable moments!

That about covers it, except for the part where he mentions having gone to the weightroom in between the DMV and MGM Grand - having checked out of the Horseshoe and returned to the "address" to sleep before the trip to the DMV.
I don't know what to tell you. There are tonnes of people on Reddit, FB and other forums reporting they have still been getting them as recently as a few weeks ago.
All I meant is that it is not just poker players losing their drinks, I know many others that are Seven star and don't play poker at all that lost the drinks let alone diamond plus tier.
You keep saying "lost their drinks" what does that mean? The 4 daily voucher drinks are still available at all Caesars properties in LV, just not at retail outlets.
Right, but those were the drinks that had the most value. It was really great to get back to your room and have cold drinks waiting for you in the fridge. And I would bet that 99.64% of the people that used that perq did NOT distribute those drinks to randoms at the poker table like Diesel, trying to show off.

Yeah but most value to who? Not the customers that Caesars care about. For those who were using the 4 free drinks every single day of the year like ELD and other poker grubs of course they prefered to just grab the drinks from the retail outlets or gift shops. It was just daily routine for them.
But I suspect Caesars revamped this benefit due to the fact that the way it was being used or abused was defeating the purpose of the benefit, at least as they saw it. The purpose of the benefit (as they see it) isn't to stock up the hotel mini fridge or for Nomads to stock up every day of their life for their travels. The purpose is for customers of a certain status being able to enjoy complimentary drinks while they are on property.
Casinos do this kind of thing all the time. Most rewards programs have a condition regarding reasonable or fair use. My local casino revokes benefits to individuals like ELD who abuse the benefits to the max. Like people hanging out in the VIP lounge every single day of their life and feasting on the free food and drink so they never have to spend a cent on food. That's not the purpose of the benefit and people that do it get cut off pretty quickly.
Maybe I'll come out of retirement and see if I can get a tech job at MGM by the end of the year. I'll then gain access to the poker hours database and delete enough of El D's hours to prevent Gold.
I got very few of my tier credits playing poker or sports, maybe < 1000 out of the 20 something thousand required for Diamond Plus.
Ok but you haven't said if you still get the 4 daily voucher drinks or not.
The algorithm they use probably isn't as simple as just looking at how status was earned. That's likely just one part of it. They look at all kinds of data. If someone was going in every single day specifically just to get their free drinks and not doing anything else on property for the most part, they would be the sort of players the algorithm will discriminate against. Because that was defeating the purpose of the benefit being offered.
It's like if I have a policy that everyone who comes into my home I offer them a drink. But if someone starts coming around every single day and then they start coming and taking the drink to go without even sitting down and talking but literally just coming for the drink then I'm going to stop offering them that drink pretty fast lol
Regarding the Caesars free drink discussion, I became Diamond Plus a couple months back in Florida (some poker....mostly slots) and I got free drinks this weekend at Harrah's Pompano Beach Florida. Does the "no free drinks" thing only apply to Vegas properties?
Has anyone been to this "weight room"? I'm assuming it's not one of those Freddie Mercury type bath houses and our buddy is leaving some information out?

Caesars properties in LV do have the 4 daily voucher drinks for diamond plus. It just doesn't include gift shops and retail outlets like it did previously, so you have to redeem them at one of the many bars or restaurants.
Apparently the employee weight room has very adequate shower facilities for Nomads. Not to mention complimentary filtered water, convenient for Nomadic water jug filling.
My fridge IS on property. It's in the room that's in the hotel. I used it maybe 15 days a year. Same with 99.64% of the other people that used it.

If I was using it 15 days a year I'd get something nicer than Gatorade/water which you can get dirt cheap at any number of stores.
But like I said, they made the change for a reason. Obviously they didn't want people treating it like a daily stock up. They know that the ones who made it their life mission or their daily routine were not doing it at bars and restaurants.
Not.

Packaged drinks, like bottled water?
