I don’t think Ballmer thought Aspiration was going to go bankrupt. He probably WAS conned in the sense that he didn’t think the entire company was a Ponzi scheme that would blow up and expose this ridiculous Kawhi issue.
Even when it goes bankrupt, if Kawhi hadn’t filed a claim to that last 7 mill then it would have been a lot harder to track down. Not impossible, but a lot less blatant
You don't just file a claim for bankruptcy. The bankruptee must list every and all creditors when filing so the court can mail a notice to these creditors. Then the creditor can choose to pursue that claim or not. In addition, it looks like the top 20 non-insider creditors must also be noted for Chapter 11.
It is also perjury to intentionally omit creditors in a bankruptcy filing.
Nothing will happen but a slap on the wrist to Ballmer.
There's no way other owners want a severe penalty when I'd guess at least 1/3 of them are pulling similar shenanigans.

But what if every time Cuban talks and is “defending” Ballmer, he’s actually leaving breadcrumbs? Like surely Steve couldn’t have done this, because if he had he would’ve done this and this. Then Pablo comes out showing Ballmer did those exact things? What if Cuban is actually giving Pablo the exact path to follow, but for NBA owner politics reasons has to appear publicly supportive of Ballmer if he wants to speak out?
I’m sure there’s a ton of holes in this idea, but it’s a funny theory to me.

There’s no way he & Mav can possibly think doing a big retirement tour like Dr J & Kareem is a good idea.

This is probably a good bet. MPJ doesn't have to compete with 4 other super stars for points this year. I'm sure he will be a big part of the scoring for this team.
The Nuggets went from having no bench last year to being 12 deep this year.
