A step in the right direction. Bibi the yahoo should be careful with his next play.

LOL. These guys are playing chess and you are playing Candyland. This was all planned ahead of time between the Trump and Qatar. Everything. All the economic deals, the jet, the military bases, the defense pacts.

And although I doubt he was happy about it, Netanyahu knew what the score was. And he was offered the Hamas leadership on a silver platter as a consolation prize.. And they ****ed that part of it up. But the plan moves forward regardless.

You cant even call this a conspiracy theory. It is so obvious and out in the open.

How dare you defile the game Candy land by equating it to games like checkers. Candy land is modeled after ancient indian gambling games that determined fates in regards to life or death. Candy land was a repackaged version of those games for those children dying of illness. There is a lot of skill involved in playing candyland well.

Take it with a grain of salt if you wish, but Israeli social media reports fairly heavy fighting between Hamas and clan based militias in Khan Younis. Not the first time, but this round seems to be more intense than previous, with heavy artillery being used by Hamas and multiple casualties on both sides.

I wonder how they attribute the civilian deaths if they’re using artillery on civilian infrastructure (which in Gaza is the only thing that exists…😉

According to the Ministry of Health I dont think there has been a single death in Gaza in the last 2 years that wasn't attributed to Israel. So I am not sure why this case would be any different.

Trump and the Qataris cut a deal, which is what the recent defense pact was all about. And it looks like trump is going to expect Netanyahu to play ball. And he is going to expect Qatar to exert some influence over Hamas to make sure they comply. Of course all the conspiracy theorists who claim Netanyahu and more generally the Jews are pulling the strings are going to ignore

I don't doubt netanyahu is a reluctant participant. Ironic as it might actually get the remaining hostages released.

But Netanyahu also knows that there will be plenty of excuse for him to to resume even if the deal happens. With netanyahu we can be near as dam certain there will be something to prevent his accountability in israel. Maybe Iran will be back in the crosshairs.

There is a big difference between the guys with guns making sure IDF troops can't do whatever they want in Gaza and the guys in Qatar. To get to a place where they give up their underground caches and are not the de facto power on the strip seems pretty impossible at this point.

My current read is that Netanyahu knows this, but the current plan succeeds for him by:

1) Getting the hostages back and helping his situation domestically
2) Saving face militarily -- no rallies or feelings of triumph for the Gazans this time.
3) Halting the slide to pariah status
4) Giving pro-Israelis a talking point (the terrorists re-negged) when the next iteration of resistance, which probably won't be called "Hamas", inevitably emerges.

It's all a question of whether resistance forces want to restart the cycle now, having put an absolutely massive dent in Israel's international reputation, or if they are willing to force Israel to go even further.

Trump, meanwhile, seems content to destroy the future of the MAGA movement, and thus his entire political legacy, to do whatever Netanyahu wants (aside from the occasional tweet, which may itself have been planned to look like they aren't in perfect coordination... a big sticking point for his right wing detractors). Whoever runs for the Republicans in 2028 is going to have to do a lot to distance themselves from MAGA if they are going to have any chance to capture even 90% of Trump's coalition from 2024.

No wonder there are conspiracy theories.

The Houthis declared an "embargo on US oil shipping" recently. Presumably meaning they were going to start attacking US oil tankers, which is something they haven't done to date. Maybe it was all just talk and nothing will come of it.

But if they do, which will only happen if Iran provides them intelligence and targeting on ships to hit (on top of providing all the weapons), as they dont have such capabilities themselves; then the US and Iran can (and should) find themselves at war. And this is independent of anything Netanyahu might do.

Netanyahu is not the only player in the ME. And your singular obsession with him and Israel does not paint a very accurate picture of power dynamics at play.

I was addressing the point about Netanyahu.

Plenty of other odious and dangerous actors as well.

So your are making a vast strawman for some reason

If the MAGA movement is just going to be obsessed with the Jewish question, Israel criticism, and antisemitic conspiracy theories; and ignore pretty much everything else, than I whole heartedly endorse its destruction. As should any sane American.

And if Tucker Carlson is a serious voice of the Republican Party in 2028 I will enthusiastically vote for whatever Democrat runs against them.

Lols “the Jewish question” like with antisemites you see antisemitism everywhere.

Criticizing the PM of Israel is anti Semitic. Criticizing sending hundreds of billions of dollars to Israel is antisemitic. That’s what Carlson does and you claim he is antisemitic. Even though Tucker like Megyn Kelly says he likes Israel. They just don’t like their current government.

But Saying Islam is a threat to Europe is just political discourse. No bigotry there right I mean it’s OK because you think it’s a part of right wing political discourse.

The last group of people sharing your views are a big portion of boomers. Thank the Lord.

In other news, more and more it appears the Trump ceasefire is fake. Trump gave Hamas an ultimatum, they responded with a written letter that can basically be boiled down to "Nah." And then Trump said good enough and declared it was a ceasefire.

Meanwhile Hamas hasn't committed to anything, and all Israel has done is withdraw back to the position they were in 2 weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu is talking like it is over and the hostages have already been returned. When Hamas hasn't committed to releasing a single one. Maybe he is just saying what Trump wants him too.

The whole thing is very strange, but at the same time kind of indicative of how all of Trump's foreign policy adventures have gone. Where he makes demands which aren't met, and then pretends they have been and moves on.

It's a trump deal that netanyahu (sorry him again) doesn't want and that offers nothing to hamas. Then throw in blair for good measure

It is strange to the point of utter insanity but we live in very strange times so who knows how exactly it will play out.

The commander of the Quds Force was interviewed.

He says that Hezbollah remains central to Lebanon's security and will continue to stand firm, and that Iran and the resistance axis intend to continue operating against Israel: "The strategy of the resistance is victory and we will continue to win; this strategy will break the backs of Israel and America. Now Hamas and the other Palestinian resistance movements have more powerful missiles, and despite the limitations and losses, the enemy's objectives have not been achieved and the resistance remains strong."

Tell me more about how the whole conflict is because of Israel and because of "colonialism"

Yes, I know this has been posted here 1,000 times. But every time I think about the claims on this forum against Israel, that we are nothing more than a colonialist project, that our sole purpose is to conquer more of the Middle East and dispossess Arabs, I think to myself what a glorious failure we are.

If this is all we have managed in 77 years, we are probably the most failed occupiers in history.

This picture is truly the best proof that there is no limit to human stupidity...

Candace Owen's YouTube has gone from 3.2 million subscribers to 5.3 million subscribers since Trump got elected. There's a reason she streams anti-Israel content pretty much ever day (and gets over half of her subscribers to watch... a massive percentage): because that's what a growing contingent of right wingers want to see.

Do you see how running on America First, and acting as he has, might piss a lot of people off? A small percentage of these millions are the "space laser" conspiracy theorists you're describing. Given Trump's close ties with Epstein, given Maxwell's familial connections to Israeli intelligence, and given the extreme, unprecedented, outside-the-box actions we've seen from Israeli intelligence over the past two years, is it really that insane to think they have something on Trump? Does it really make sense for Trump to throw away his legacy so easily?

Can you at least see why the conspiracy theories are rampant?

That post certainly is.

Two Jews were murdered in Manchester, just because they are Jews. Of course you didn't link to that.

You are the definition of scum, who thinks life is a football game, that you have to like one side. Zero empathy for Jews. Total indifference.

Regarding my post, only a complete idiot sees the facts and convinces himself that they are irrelevant to the real story

It's only going to get worse until some sanity resumes.

Lol I’m guessing this guy is basically just a pipeline of twitch chat fueled conspiracy theories.

Soon every American will be woke to the evil Jewish tendrils controlling every aspect of their lives and his mission will be complete.

Trump's legacy is grifting his base and enriching himself as much as possible.

It’s also interesting that if you live a semi-normal life interacting with every day Americans, no one is talking about Epstein and Maxwell. The entire Israel Gaza conflict isn’t a big everyday conversation for normal Americans. You’d have to be terminally online in spaces that are heavily influenced by propaganda and bots to have the impression that Americans truly care about these conspiracy theories.
