The Trooper is the kind of guy that is so stupid he doesent realize what a world of hurt he would be facing recently if he didnt met Lady T and she stuck with him for this many years. He basically hit lightening in a bottle.
Remember before Lady T, one of Trooper's big household purchases was an inflatable mattress. Now he at least has a real mattress, even if it is on the floor.

I wonder how many dealers actively lobby players when the leave the table during a promo period. I know some places definitely did here in the PNW, but I think the dealers at the Aces rooms don't care.
Another factor is that they aces rooms let you login to a table manually. Having the dealers lobby players, and in turn, having to relogin would be a crap show

Yeah I'm aware what it is. As you say it can add up over time and if she really has alimony it is nice for her. But it's also similar to having a mid level job. Very likely the answer is no. Lady T doesent want to work a "regular" job,and neither does Trooper so that is something the always got in common. They are very stubborn when it comes to this.
Lady T want to have the days off going to Costco,eating at bakeries,filming for her dead "Life with the Troopers" YT channel,donking on slots,do some shopping and generally doing as she pleases.

Almost all dealers that I've witnessed, lobby players by the rules, as in, when they miss the big blind. Even in San Jose, where the only penalty is having to pay the blinds. They have no promos or comps.

I'm guessing the fact that Trooper refused to play at every Trooper Thursday table running each Thursday so that every table had a chance to play with him, like ALL Meet-Up Game hosts in the country do, is what dwindled TT to just the single regs table that he plays at. Why would fans want to go to TT again if he doesn't play at their table and just sticks to his own table? I mean, he even stated that he felt uncomfortable walking up to fans at other TT tables to thank them for coming, so he didn't do it. He stated that they could always walk up to him instead. You should have seen him when he was getting the 4 daily drink vouchers. He would go into stores and take photos of the drinks with the prices to post online and say "do people really pay for this stuff"
Then the day came when they rescinded his free drinks because he was taking advantage and boasting about it. It was like he was at a funeral, but then he claimed he was only concerned for other visitors/players who would be affected by the change.

Yes,feeling like he is something,getting to boast about the perks whenever he got the chance to do so is the first reason.
The second reason is strictly driven by saving money/not spending money,probably his single biggest obsession. Keep in mind this is a guy that buys fully brown or close to rotten bananas at the grocerystore,in order to save like 50 cents a dollar or whatever.
He would not be able to sleep if he was paying resort fee even for one single night at the strip. He would likely be having a meltdown if he lost the waived resort fee perk.
