NL 10 - Shall I bet turn here?

NL 10 - Shall I bet turn here?

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO UTG [Ac 9c]
12898746: raises 2.5bb
11761700: folds
12932725: folds
9352325: folds
VILAIN BB: raises 8bb
HERO UTG: calls 8bb
*** FLOP *** 2 players, 15.5bb [4d 2d Ks]
VILAIN BB: checks
HERO UTG: checks
*** TURN *** 2 players, 15.5bb [4d 2d Ks] [Jh]
VILAIN BB: checks
HERO UTG: bets 10bb
VILAIN BB: folds

So here I bet the turn for the only reason checking twice means giving up the vast majority of the time at 10NL. I dont think I ve ever seen anyone at those stakes still having some hands to call or raise with once they check twice. I m expecting vilain to fold facing any bets here
But then it got me thinking. When i bet here and he folds I m likely to actually have the best hand with A high. Would I make him fold AQ here? So I m betting only for equity denial. I decide to go 2/3 pots to maximise my fold equity but is it the right reasoning? If I put him on nothing and folding to any bet here shouldnt I actually go small? Wouldnt it actualy make more sense for me as I d represent valuing a J?
All in all this is this kind of hand where I indeed got the pot but Im questionning if my reasoning was right and I doubt it was. What do you think?

Do 1/3 Turn and then 2/3 River that way you get him to fold better as well (Pairs AQ AT River) and get him to pay you extra with marginal hands OTT

Edit: soz, misread hand.

Yeah you could go smaller ott, but this line still +EV

This.....and preflop it's 4b or fold. Wouldn't call with A9s! Checking twice implies his range is capped, so you have to go on attack-mode.

Thanks, I only called here because the sizing was small and I noticed on my room regs tends to 3b small when they re light and correct amount ( x4 OOP ) when they have a strong hand. Thats why I decided to enlarge a bit the calling range here, that being said If I think he s light I should just 4b then to deny him equity.

It's pretty hard to have anything worse considering we don't rly have A9 here usually. Seems fine to either bluff turn or river based on the opponent
