I don’t doubt that at all. Trump has always been viewed as a means to an end and I don’t doubt for even a second plenty of those in attendance are all about the absolute power being flaunted

This podcast I listen to said it was an attack on black service members, some of whom apparently get an exemption from the no beards rule because shaving give them severe skin problems. I think the no fatties thing is just cover for an attack on black service members.

Trump and hogsbreath really looked like a couple of too-online weirdos talking to a whole room full of serious men experienced in the complex challenges of the real world. That's the vibe I got, like very little respect flowing from the generals to the dais It wasn't a good look, like all Trump and hogsbreath's ideas that these generals are little closet freaks like them were drying out in the cold light of day.

What's up? He definitely ramped up the war against citizens in that speech. The best part of that video is Johnson agreeing that he's unhinged and unwell.
I didn't hear the whole speech, but he's been talking about declaring war on particular cities for a few months now.
The craziest thing I heard was Hegseth telling the high ranking officers that their job is to kill people and break things, and that they might not be fit to be in polite society.
I await their attempt to try and get soldiers to shoot civilians - that is going to be the key to whether this fascist takeover keeps rollin or not.
Didn't Trump keeps going on about 'can't we just shoot them in the legs' in his last presidency and the adults in the room talked him down. I could be misremembering that.

Its also pretty clear the government shutdown is Republican coordinated so they can essentially operate with even more impunity than they already are

The America first crew likely doesn't understand what happened or is unwilling to admit that ''the art of the deal'' is forcing countries to find trade deals/solutions that don't include the USA at all which I personally am a big fan.
The more the USA slides into irrelevancy the better it is for the rest of the world.
Think of Trump as America's Berlusconi and you won't go far wrong.

Rodrick Johnson, 67, is one of many residents who were detained by federal agents during the South Shore raid. A U.S. citizen, he said agents broke through his door and dragged him out in zip ties.
Johnson said he was left tied up outside the building for nearly three hours before agents finally let him go.
“I asked [agents] why they were holding me if I was an American citizen, and they said I had to wait until they looked me up,” Johnson said. “I asked if they had a warrant, and I asked for a lawyer. They never brought one.”
Watson said she saw agents dragging residents, including kids, out of the building without any clothes on and into U-Haul vans. Kids were separated from their mothers, she said.
“It was heartbreaking to watch,” said Watson. “Even if you’re not a mother, seeing kids coming out buck naked and taken from their mothers, it was horrible.”
