I was pleasantly surprised this week to find that my Daily Drink credits have been returned.

Caesars cut them off over a year ago while I was still seven stars. I checked from time to time to see if they were back; the last time I remember checking was early July and they were still not back.

We went to one of the preseason hockey games last week and got drinks and appetizers at the Martha Stewart bar before the game. We intended to use some food credit offers from my card and the drink credits from my wife's card. I was shocked when the bartender came back and said he was able to use the drink vouchers from my account!

I double checked the printed receipt and indeed the drinks were comped from my account.

Of course I'm expecting them to get suspended again before long, but I'll be sure to enjoy them for now.

Also since wife and I are both 7*, is there a strategy we can/should use to place opposite bets and only pay the vig once? Basically best way to convert our Resort Credits to $'s. Also how to manage our monthly free bets.

Am completely new to sports betting. Have not even been taking advantage of our monthly free bets. Only only bet ever made was couple years back on Ky Derby but IIRC that was a different app.

Does it raise any flags betting both sides of same bet on a single account? Especially if you are using RC to do so?

Think he's saying bet like bills -7 -110 on Caesars and whoever they are playing against let's says chiefs +7.5 -115 on some other site.

To convert the most with a single bet, you can bet a large amount of RC on a heavy favorite, let's say E. Carolina next Thursday at -700. Put $100 of RC on that bet, which will return a total of $114 if it wins. Then bet the opponent in the same game, Tulsa, at the best available odds (+500 on Draft Kings), such that the payouts are equal. In this case, that would be $19 on Tulsa, returning $114 total if Tulsa wins.

Either way, the result is that you have converted $100 of RC plus $20 into $114.

To optimize, you can look for discrepancies in the lines, so that the effective vig is lower. This may mean a higher outlay on the "other" site. You definitely don't want to bet both sides of the same game on the same site yourself, nor with another person with the same address.

For more of a sweat, you can do bets like pwnsall suggested, where if the result is Bills win by 7, you push one bet and win the other, resulting in a higher profit. You can manipulate the spread so that if the score comes in the middle of the two bets, you win both. This will cost you much more in vig when you win only one side, though.

Nope, but given that in Jan you can go to Vegas on 10x week, put 7k coin in through slots on the same day (or 14k on VP) and get Diamond, it doesnt surprise me the non-play hacks have gone.

The Caesars Reward high end credit card (with a $149 annual fee) will allow you to get Diamond just on spending. I know CC spending is relative, but it really isn't that much spread over a year.

How much do you have to run through your card?

I've never seen ads for that card. Guess they know they aren't giving me one anyway.

Wrong. Approval is manual and can take days or even weeks. Email a host if you have one, or stop by a rewards desk and ask.

Rewards desk at a casino you play at a lot or host.

Shoot. You are scaring me because I didn't read the fine print.

I was assuming it was still $1 of spend gets 1 tier credit up to 25,000, but now I will have to go back and more closely read the fine print.

Obviously spending $25,000 on a credit card in a year is a lot, but as someone who runs almost everything through my CC despite paying it off monthly, I am pretty sure I would get close.

I think before you've said you play in Council Bluffs. First time I hit 7 Star I waited like a week wondering when the status would go from pending to actual. I emailed my host for CB and asked how long it would take (also was nervous because I only hit it from a December multiplier when bonus tier credits showed up first week of January). He emailed back he would look into it. And by that afternoon it was updated to 7 Star.
So I'd recommend emailing a host and asking.

You're correct on location. I don't have a local host and my vegas host recently took a different job, so I guess I'll inquire at the cage.

If you already are Diamond Elite now qualifying for and much of your play is at council bluff, I would email them to get a host. Then proceed to try and have the host handle the 7*.

I doubt the cage can do too much, unless CB just no longer has hosts. If you still havea players club staffed by hosts, go there first. May have limited hours when staffed.

If it was $1 = 1 TC I might have considered it but 50k spend just isn't worth it when you can get airline miles or Chase points worth $1k+.

Wow, as much money as I waste on frivolous junk, I'd have a hard time charging 50 g's in one year.

Exactly. 50k is 1,000 dollars with a 2 percent cashback card and more if used correctly. Then throw in the fact you can be doing many credit card signup bonuses with 50k in spend and it's not remotely worth it.
