Godking Trump totally not weaponizing government agencies (sweat thread)
Now that Comey is indicted [strike]and as huge the implications of abuse of power are since this is singularly the resul
I just posted news about 275 FBI agents imbedded in crowd at J6 who were actively engaging in violence and coordi, the ****face mod deleted it. You guys are vile dishonest people.100% he'll delete this too. This just shows how you react when faced with evidence that doesn't support your narrative. J6 was a hoax and now Trump is going to unleash hell upon Democrats. Have fun cop
You are either fantastically delusional, incredibly stupid or simply a horrible human being. Possibly all three.
I could never have imagined while I was watching jan. 6 that magtards could spin it any other way than what happened. I must say it took them a couple years to get there.
Seems like all we know about this case so far is that’s so weak even Trump’s baseline incompetent appointees were too embarrassed to put their name on these charges and he had to get someone even more incompetent to file them.
The guy who resigned had been there a while and seemed on paper like a relatively normal dude.
The charge doesn’t really make sense because the “lie” is Comey saying he didn’t authorize anyone to be an anonymous source. That source would appear to be McCabe.
Based upon the public IG report, McCabe previously stated he told Comey that he leaked AFTER the fact, and that Comey said “good idea” or something. So even if you believe McCabe, that’s still not really a lie if Comey gave a thumbs up afterwards but didn’t tell him it was ok beforehand.
That’s putting aside that the IG report concluded that McCabe was lying and that Comey was telling the truth when he said he didn’t know about it. This is what makes it really stupid - there’s literally a 60 page report walking through everything and explaining why Comey didn’t lie on the public record already.
Only 3 presidents have weaponized the DOJ against political opponents.
Nixon
Reagan
Trump
Anyone seeing a pattern? I'm sure MAGA would say Biden did this... but they no longer live in reality. They live in FOX land, brought to you by the billionaire oligarchs. A mind not being brainwashed, is a terrible thing to waste.
Just watched Comey respond to the indictment. Cliffs: Trump is a tyrant, I'm innocent, bring it on!
Yep..

More than a dozen of the most influential U.S. economic officials of the past three decades are urging the Supreme Court to allow Federal Reserve board of governors member Lisa Cook to stay on the board of the central bank.
Damn, even Phil Gramm (he's still alive?)
The signatories included former Fed Chairs Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke and Janet Yellen; former Treasury Secretaries Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, Hank Paulson, Timothy Geithner and Jack Lew; and five former chairs of the White House Council of Economic Advisers: Glenn Hubbard, Christina Romer, Jason Furman, Cecilia Rouse and Jared Bernstein.
Former Senate Banking Committee Chair Phil Gramm (R-Texas) and former Fed board member Dan Tarullo also signed the brief.
Not weaponizing at all. No siree..
Multiple top federal prosecutors at U.S. attorney's offices around the country received a directive Monday to prepare to launch investigations into the Open Society Foundations, a group funded by the billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, multiple sources confirmed to ABC News.
the fbi did COINTELPRO across multiple parties and this guy is like, oh ya only Repubs use the fbi for political attacks. ofc, he probably doesnt understand the issue with it and thinks that is fine and good to assassinate black leaders like as the song says, he cried when they shot Medgar Evers but Malcolm X got what was coming.
also, obv they still do cointelpro but its going after mentally deficient teenagers now.

I agree with you basically never but the claim that only 3 presidents have weaponized the DOJ against political opponents is hilarious, and borne in bias/ignorance.

The chances this lady gets disbarred eventually has to be pretty high. She a;ready seems to have submitted contradictory versions of the indictment and told a judge she hadn't seen something that had her signature on it. She's super unqualified and no prosecutor that has their job based on merit is going to help her because it doesn't look like this case should have been brought to begin with.
Not precisely on topic, though it would surprise precisely no one if it turned out to be. Offhand couldn’t see where else to put it.
Spoiler
Obviously I mainly just wanted to juxtapose those two videos.
He should go after Obama for Obama's global assassination program, for spying on American citizens without a warrant. and for Libya. Actually since we are apparently in some 70s like moment where people are just seeing what they can get away with, he should prosecute Obama for giving aid and support to Israel against official U.S. law. Comey is such an unsatisfying sacrifice. It's like I've always said about Trump, that his genius is somehow making everyone unhappy. So often in politics if one person is made happy another person is made unhappy. You have to really know what you are doing to somehow not satisfy anyone.

Eh, it’s pretty hard to get disbarred for something you do in court. 90% of those are for either completely ignoring clients or misuse of trust account money. There’s just so much wiggle room in court stuff.
For example, that indictment issue sounds bad, but could easily be explained as a dumb mistake. They probably just printed it off with the charges they thought they’d get with an electronic sig or /s/ on there, re-did it when the panel rejected one, and left the original in the package by mistake. She definitely didn’t do all the paperwork herself, so it’s not crazy to say “I haven’t seen that” if like a paralegal just did what they always do and didn’t realize this was a weird situation.
There’s zero chance she was trying to trick the judge into thinking charges had been voted that weren’t. So stupid careless mistake but not a “lie”.
Don’t get me wrong, the chances of disbarment for her are vastly higher than normal. It’s just that “bringing a shitty case you know is probably going to lose” isn’t gonna do it.

President Donald Trump is demanding that Microsoft fire former Biden Justice Department official Lisa Monaco, who Trump has previously blamed for federal investigations into his mishandling of classified documents and alleged election interference, furthering his retribution campaign against his former antagonists.
Trump urged the software giant to remove Monaco, who it recently appointed as its president of global affairs, and argued her tenure as former deputy Attorney General and connections to investigations he views as illegitimate discredit her.
“Monaco has been shockingly hired as the President of Global Affairs for Microsoft, in a very senior role with access to Highly Sensitive Information. Monaco’s having that kind of access is unacceptable, and cannot be allowed to stand,” Trump wrote on social media. “She is a menace to U.S. National Security, especially given the major contracts that Microsoft has with the United States Government.”

Maybe you're right, but "I should be allowed keep my professional license because I'm stupid and careless" is not something you want to be forced to argue.

Reading a little more - most people assumed Person 3 is McCabe because that’s the issue GOP made the biggest deal about during Comeys testimony.
But it could also be Comeys law professor friend who gave his notes to NYT and was apparently a temporary FBI employee at one point. Which could be somewhat more defensible, and at least hasn’t been already determined by the DOJ to be meritless.
