sesh 3
I caught a rush of cards when I went all-in preflop with AJcc and got snap called by QTo. I won about 350 in the hand.

Had to sitout because the whale was making it $30 to $50 preflop with literally ATC. Didnt feel like waiting for KK+. Onward toward tomorrow.

I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man
Across the desert bare man
I've breathed the mountain air, man
I've been everywhere...

Tuma Shame on you for quitting this type of game , where is the heart? Where is the commitment? Gambling with the whale is vital, please do not pass up such a dream spot going forward it's how one acquires a 1000bb stack

Haha, no words!!

Any advice for preflop against such a spot? He also had infinite money in his pocket.

Id say buckle up and prepare to potentially get rekt but if your Uber tight and nitty you won't maximize your potential earn and more importantly have maximum fun. In position play more loose, look for spots to outplay and show some bluffs make him want to ruin you if the cards line up it will be. A bonanza. Sniping the whale seems unsportsmanlike, he's going to reward your bravery help him lighten his load Brother Tuma!

Also if your in the trenches mixing it up with the whale it improves your table image with the other players increasing action all around people get on tilt occasionally when this happens that FOMO sets in and they are peeling juicy 3b with deuce five soooted and stuff putting yourself in tough spots from time to time is good for skill level id say

Thank you for the tips 😀

Hit and ran for +$177.

Hero ep $7 A6dd

Hero $40
SB moves in for $225
Hero goes into the tank. Villain has a Seahawks Jersey and just bought in a few hands ago. Getting 1.6 to 1 odds is pretty good for 12 potential outs I tell myself...

Hero makes the call.
Hands are turned up:

SB has T9dd 😀

turn 4d

I'm gonna buy back in shortly.

I'm up $1,250 in the past 24 hours. All short sessions. I've been on my A/A+ game most of the time.

I still have 3.5 days left. That's half a week! Let's eclipse $2k pls.

The reason I play short sessions is actually logic based.

I'm at my absolute best when I'm 100bb deep. Online I have spent the past 20 years or so playing almost nothing but 100bb deep 6-max and full ring. All of my training has been 100bb deep. I am an assassin at 100bb deep.

I'm a winner at 200bb deep live as well. I would just prefer to play when I am most awake, and as close to 100bb deep as possible.

Because why not? Our time on Earth is finite, why shouldn't I factor that into my decision making?

Stats:

Sessions: 19
Hours: 30
P/L: $1,790
Hourly: $60.37
Consecutive wins: 6

I have joined the community of smokers outside the Hotel. I thought perhaps I would not be accepted because I am a lone weed smoker, but (gasps) I am now one of them.

Do people hit you up for tokes off the Doobie?

Congrats on the profitable trip that's a nice win rate

Yes. But they tend to be gregarious women dressed in fishnets. I always say no!

I'm really considering moving out here for the Winter. I have a roommate in mind who destroys poker games. He's also a retired ex-con, so I would have legit protection against the bad guys.

Thanks for being a part of this trip Hank!!

Haha, they said: "gamble with the whale..."

Also a winner at using your fingers in combination with your mind to write deeply insightful posts on the luminary that is, TUMA

Bravo sir

As long as you’re playing sessions, adapting to shorter ones is totally copacetic.

It’s all one long session.
You know you the best.
Play where and how you’re comfortable.

My friend says poker players are samurai.

I sit in, I play a notch looser than tight, I crush, I sit out and leave.

I'm more of a hitman than Samurai.

(Sunday) 2 tables running

The Omega Whale is playing.

50% chance i sit v him

And oh hell yeah I'm table changing to his game...

I'm gambling with the whale.

On a board of 54236, with a pot of $260, i check UTG with QQ. UTG1 checks, and the whale puts us both all-in, an additional $350 from me.

I remembered him bluffing a chop before. And he Jammed a little too quickly - an occasionally reliable tell. So I pushed out my stack. UTG1 folded, whale showed 43s.

Chop it up.

Quitting again, lol.

Doyle's day is off to a piping start. Played a little over an hour, two sessions, +235.

I call Sundays "Doyle's Day" because Brunson was a devout Christian. And so the Christian Sabbath will always be a day to remember him.

The Orleans is a surprisingly decent casino and hotel. There's a lot to like. I'll have a full writeup once I'm at a computer next.
