(Aria seriously some of the worst cocktail service in Vegas -- they take full advantage of being a union. I'd make a fortune working there. Still not sure why they don't take advantage of it.)
I'm glad you said that I feel better now that I my original post was fairly accurate.
Maybe she's a good server but she doesn't care about interrupting people in the hands, maybe this might reduce her hourly rate 😀 She's good from the perspective that she's fast.
I asked if they train the servers there not to go into the hands.
I think the answer is no. Yes, they are union, and you're right, a lot of them suck.
I'd look at this from a different viewpoint: Use the distraction as a moment to focus and possibly gain some clarity on the action/opponent(s). Grab a chip, spin around, tip, say thanks, then regroup and make a solid decision.
