Hero? Snap fold?
This is my first time seeing 3x+ overbets, I'd assume it's value heavy??? boats? flushes?

Of course in theory they are supposed to have *a lot* of bluffs here. But in practice not many microstakes players have the nerves to pull those bluffs out. I imagine their bluff could come from AsJc or AsJd, and you block these hands. I think you want to have Js to start considering calling.
Yep it's just never going to balanced enough to justify calling in a vacuum. They'll probably jam relatively low value hands too, so even hero-ing vs a whale in this spot is fraught with danger.
I think these spots elucidate the primary difference between pot odds and MDF. For MDF we're concerned about 'balance' and being exploited if we misplay our range, but here (and in most fish value lines) the pot odds are more relevant because no fish is ever thinking on that meta level: thus if mr fish is bluffing 50%, it's usually a call.
Odds that generic fish are bluffing >50% with a strong line when everything hits are hyper unlikely
Can I ask why we dont C-bet flop?
I would much rather take a line like bet/fold every Street for controll and sizing.
Given the line i snapfold river.
That river bomb is almost never a bluff, especially at 10NL. People don’t rip 3.5x pot with air. You’re basically only beating a spazzy TT/JJ turned into nonsense, which is rare. Easy fold.
