This is like when people falsely compare others to Nazis. Antifa is obviously a group of violent dirt bags. Good for the President taking action against these thugs. Transgenders have taken part in violent acts of late but these are just loan wolf events. Some would argue that there are mental/chemical issues at work here. Antifa is an organized group formed to terrorize.

Sure it won’t happen

It's especially weird when people insist they are correct even as to people like KBJ who excelled overwhelmingly in the academic environments to which they were admitted.KBJ graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School and made law review. I don't know exactly what that means at HLS, but top 10% is a good guess. And that's in an environment where grading was entirely blind. Sh

KBJ is remarkably accomplished and someone I personally admire.

I recognize that I’m currently aggravated but the ****ing misogyny and, yes, MISOGYNOIR is a lot to take day in and day out coming from this collective group of total idiots

It is possible I am discounting the cognitive requirements of being a lawyer.

I have a lot of doctors in my family/circle, but not lawyers. And based on personal experience I would definitely not say being a doctor means one should assume an understanding of mathematical concepts.

The cognitive requirements to be a shitty lawyer aren't that high.

You may also be overvaluing the sort of mathematical ability that tends to impress people on 2+2.

The lawyer who was primarily responsible for teaching me how to be a lawyer was a math major in undergrad who told me that she would have gotten a math PhD if she hadn't gone to law school. When she was working something through in her own head, or killing five minutes before a meeting started, it wasn't unusual for me to see her doing math in a notebook that was beyond the math I had taken. It was her form of doodling.

If we each had taken a test that consisted solely of giving snap mathematical estimates to poker questions and giving snap responses to counterintuitive probability questions, I probably would have outperformed her. But that's because those things interested me, and as far as I know, they didn't interest her. Her overall math knowledge indisputably was more extensive than mine, even if I was better than her at certain math-related parlor tricks.

You have given enough personal information for me to deduce you are from a demographic they make up quotas to keep them out of higher education, not let them in. I suspect you are intelligent enough if you were of a more desirable demographic you would literally have gotten into any college/major you wanted. Maybe you did anyways, and are living the life you always wanted. I

Honey, I went to John’s Hopkins and had the highest test scores in my highschool for literally every test

Well then ask yourself why you disagree so much with her about affirmative action. Because you seem to have a very rightwing position about it: there is no need at all of it.

You reach that conclusion in a different way most rightwing people do, namely because you think white men are mostly trash so it's very easy to outcompete them, but regardless of how you reach your conclusion, you end up where the right is: affirmative action is not needed at all.

Now, Jackson has a *SLIGHTLY* different opinion on that...

Imagine reading Laura ****ing Loomer tweets.

Yeah I know the left wing likes to stay in their echo chamber so they are permanently aghast and offended, but I prefer to see where this country is going by following the president’s advisors/cabinet to see what advice he is being given. She is giving him advice, which has been confirmed to have been taken by him.

by Crossnerd

Like how gross are some of you to be speaking the way you are about women and minorities.

MANY of you white men are truly below average in every way and don’t realize it. It’s not that difficult to compete with you, you just like to think it is.

Correct. We don't need DEI. People will get what they earn. People need to stop obsessing over their identity scoreboard. The fact there's no asian women in the NBA still bothers me though

FYI women are significantly out numbering men in college admissions

KBJ is remarkably accomplished

Of course she is. It's asinine to suggest otherwise, regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum.

The point isn’t to exclusively agree with her politics, it’s to note that KBJ is at least as qualified, if not more qualified, to be in most rooms with most men.

For a borderline ****** to imply she didn’t have the brain power to walk intellectual laps around him while painting her nails is embarrassing

But it’s just one stark example of the overwhelming intellectual embarrassment that is the right wing. There are legitimately countless examples of how ******edly embarrassing the right wing is in the field of thankin

Another one is that Luciom represents the entirety of the right wing brain trust on a site with a relatively equal split between left, right, and center

I kinda dislike how it’s seen as a right-wing position. In my opinion the problem is that it’s trying to fix the wrong thing. By the time someone gets to college/their career, all the stuff that could have been changed to give people the best shot it’s already too late to do.

The best time to set a child up for life is in the womb, infancy, and young adulthood. You can’t fix the disparity by jumping to the end of the story.

Of course it may also be motivated by not saying what the real issue is, because the story of not getting the opportunity rather than being screwed from the start is an easier sell.

This, once again, is everything flying over your head and you creating a narrative out in lala land. Your behavior and tripling down is truly bizarre. It's been explained to you multiple times. Nobody is this dense. You're acting out some sort of condition

Of course she is. It has nothing to do with politics. I'm not going to pretend like Neil Gorsuch is incapable of tying his shoes just because I disagree with a lot of his jurisprudence. Whether I like him or not, his professional accomplishments are what they are.

Of course she is. It's asinine to suggest otherwise, regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum.

Keep in mind that for many people on the right , you cannot be competent as a leftist on legal matters, in the sense that you cannot actually believe leftist ideology is correct legally if you are intelligent, and no previous accomplishments can change that.

Like believing in leftist intepretations of the law disqualifies you as an individual for "competence", for many (most?) rightwing people. And i think a lot of people on the left think the same of rightwing judges actually (maybe fewer than on the right? not sure).

That's different from other areas of competence where you can separate political preferences and technical ability much easier.

Correct. It won't happen.

some specific trans activist groups might be declared terrorist groups if they plan or enact acts of terrors (or are thought to plan acts of terrors).

But that's very different from claiming all transgender individuals are terrorists i agree, that won't happen.

It's called ''noise filtering''. There's far too much going on to follow it all.

yep fact is that a lot of leftists as well do consider Roberts, Gorsuch and so on actually incompetent. I mean you must have heard that often (outside of actual legal experts).

Why are you all so confident of that? You don’t think there are lots in the Trump admin that would be in favor?
