Pain, seeing ppl advance with their 98pts is a lot of fun haha

My 3 highest team all scored over 150 and didnÂ’t advance
But my crappy teams in the 90-120 almost all advanced unreal man

Man was such a nice team if only bowers could have done something last night

I just give out the beats.Knocked out a guy and this was my RB room

Najee's stock is significantly rising at least for the early part of this season. He looks good and he is dependable. Hampton has had too many rookie blunders including the fumble last night and running out of bounce when they were trying to kill the clock in the previous game. I think we are going to get back to the split we thought would happen before Najee's eye accident. Missing Slater is not good for the running game. I hope none of you all were foolish enough to take Hampton in the early third. He should have been a 5th rounder. While Hampton was going in the third I was loading up on Najee in the 15th. While the hive panicked like stock traders I calmly noticed the Chargers hadn't made any significant running back moves. I had a pretty strong feeling that Najee was going to be ok.

Swift will give you a consistent top 25 performance. I do think this team will get a lot better as they get more comfortable with Ben Johnsons offense. Swift could still be a good value.

Pacheco's feet move fast but he goes nowhere. He's an official bust.

Najee sucks and is slow AF.

On the bright side, he did become really cheap and is at worst the RB2 in a Greg Roman/Harbaugh offense.

At least he was able to treat his foot too. I wonder if that extends the 6-8 weeks.

From what I read it’s still the same timeline .

He doesn't miss games. He blocks well. He doesn't fumble. He can catch. He is a professional. He is exactly what the Chargers need while Hampton learns how to play.

You know who else is slow AF? Josh Jacobs.

What do you guys think of Troy Franklin's value in redraft? Do you think he is playable/startable at all or is he a better best ball play? Also, what about Wandale? Russ can't just throw to Nabors, so Wandale will get targets. I just wonder if he will continue to get the downfield throws. The deep ball is Russ's specialty, so I hope he continues to bomb away.

He's officially the number 2 WR on the Broncos. He leads the room in all categories. He did most of his damage in the first half of the Colts game. He has been their go to guy in big situations. Guy's who follow the Broncos feel like he could have easily had a 12 catch game but they went away from him for some reason. He had great route running. He has great chemistry with Bo especially in off script plays. He is doing a lot of things really well. The Colts did make a concerted effort to take Courtland out of the game. Pat Bryant is starting to get mixed in. Also, this was a bad coaching performance by Sean Payton. Bad play calling. I don't know what the deal is with Evan Engram. So much for the Joker role.

Troy is an ideal best ball player because I think he'll have nuclear games and several down games. Overall I think he will be involved most weeks. He is a league winner especially if you drafted him in the early summer when he was mostly going undrafted. He is definitely worth an add in redraft but ideally you can keep him on the bench until we are sure of his consistency. I would not play him against the Chargers this week unless you are particularly week at WR.

Wondale won't catch another bomb this year. I take that back, they do play the Cowboys one more time. I bet the Giants would have scored 21 less points if Parsons was still on the Cowboys. There is no way Russ would have been able to sit back there and throw the moon balls.

Starting Troy Franklin and winning by less than 1 point. Me Smart!

That's a hell of a great call on your part. Less than 1% of DFS players had him in lineups even though he was cheap...idiots. I bet an even smaller percentage of people started him in redraft. It sounds like you know ball.

Congratulations!

This post is giving me some nostalgic waterwolves vibes. Keep it up

I never heard of him.

I never heard of him.

A legend in these streets. A maverick and very anti hivemind, you would have liked him.

Not sure the comparison is fair to Waterwolves - he called his shots before the season or before the weekly games were played and then reminded us for the next several months whenever he was right. Seems like this dudes favorite thing is to post after the games how much he likes someone (and surprisingly has near 100% accuracy)

This guy would already be perma-banned from any serious sports betting forums for past posting his picks

In Mongidigs defense, he’s been all in on Franklin for a while (although also Bryant)

Keenan as well

I honestly just don’t understand the rage about the “hivemind”.

If the “hivemind” is causing players that you like to fall, congrats, you now have a huge edge. It’s literally helping you win, the anger is pointless. It’s like being mad at fish in poker for open jamming 72 into you

It’s also week 3… last year in week 3 we thought the saints might be the best team in the league… it’s a long season and victory lapping any takes should be more of a fun light hearted exercise than anything (i.e me joking about being dead bc im light on Henry or me celebrating about how the only thing I got right is Flowers). Both those things could be completely right or wrong in 4 weeks. Everyone here has gotten a million things right and a million things wrong, it’s a high variance game haha

I was and still am high on Bryant. Rookies in Sean Payton's offense are brought along slowly. We are seeing a lot of slow starts for rookies this year. Initially I was high on both Bryant and Franklin but towards the end of the drafting season I was taking Franklin over Bryant by a couple rounds. We are gonna see Bryant worked in more and more. He had a couple nice critical third down catches last week.

I've been very open that I am actually happy that the hivemind has missed on players like Keenan and Troy. I didn't think I was coming off as angry. I'm certainly not angry at all. I've been a part of the hive mind. Last year I was lazy and didn't do much research of my own and relied on what the "experts" were saying and what the hive was doing. It didn't go well. This year I am going rogue and it's going very well. I'm just pointing out how the hivemind has a dramatic effect on how most fantasy players make decisions. My recent hivemind example was a response to a poster who thought Troy Franklin came out of nowhere. I actively use the hive as leverage.

I feel like I can take a victory lap on some things. My process for coming to the conclusion that Troy was gonna be good this year has been spot on. He had a great offseason and just kept stacking great practices. Then he looked great in the pre season. Now he looks great in the regular season. Who knows how this ends but so far so good. I had 40% of him in DFS and won a good amount of money this week. I have many other takes that I haven't bragged about yet because I am waiting for a larger sample size.

Thank you for coming to my defense of Troy and Keenan. I'm not here to piss people off. I enjoy making predictions. I don't mind being controversial if I feel I am right.

You are the guy that was shocked about the emergence of Troy Franklin. I then gave you a detailed response of why you got this wrong. In fact, I think that is one of the best posts ever made in this forum. You should be thanking me and yet you think I should be permabanned? It sounds to me like the problem is you. You missed all of my Troy and Keenan talk all summer. You missed my post about why I would be playing both Troy Franklin and T Thornton in DFS...Before the games started. This has to be one of the best calls ever. I think you should go back and read all the posts in this forum instead of popping in and commenting on things you don't know about.

I do talk about players after the fact as well. For example, I observed the struggles of Hampton and I observed how solid Najee looks. This summer I'm pretty sure I wrote about how the gap between Hampton and Najee was too large. This was before the eye injury. I've talked about how I thought Hampton going in the third was an over correction to Najees eye injury.

Thoughts on this trade, non ppr.
I give up hurts and treyveon Henderson for Javonte Williams, baker and Daniel jones.

My RBs are Henry, Henderson, charbonnet, and a bunch of handcuffs. Can’t start Henderson right now since he barely sees the field and charbs is a split time back. Not sure if the upgrade at rb is worth the downgrade at Qb. 0-2 right now too so hard to stay patient with Henderson

I would not do that

That's tough. You need to weigh end of season versus being in win now mode.

Javonte is certainly greater than Hendo today. Whether that's the case at the end of the season, I'm not sure. Non PPR puts even more pressure on Hendo to accumulate yards and TDs, which he may not do until the second half of the season. I assume villain won't take Hendo for Javonte straight up?

The drop off from Hurts to Baker/Dimes may not be that bad since you can play matchups and both Baker/Dimes can score well. But on average, you're probably giving up somewhere between 2-6 points, assuming you can make correct start/sit decisions between the two.

I'm not sure what I'd do, but your RBs do need help now.
