The murder of Charlie Kirk
Can we all admit that the majority of extremism is coming from the left over the last handful of years?
Apparently they j
maybe 51-49 that he was imo
I watched the whole first one hoping to get the definition of a femboy. It wasn't given. And now I'm wondering if the presenter was female. Damn I'm an old guy now. Who were the femboys when I was in high school in the early oughts? Emos? Are these gay guys or trans or gay bottom guys? There is a difference between them and trans guys according to the vid.
So now we're saying the assassin was into transexuals but that doesn't mean he was a Lefty. I have to admit that I also assumed if he was with a trans then he was Left.
Then again remember how the gay hookup site crashed during the republican convention when their servers were flooded, and how every time some politician is outed as gay it is a homophobic Republican. I guess transexual fascists could make sense given how closeted conservatives seem to be. I guess that is not a good look for...whiteness?
Why is the Director of the FBI quoting a reporter using an anonymous source from his own investigation when he could be quoting *checks notes* himself by giving an official statement…
The guy is a true blue ****ing idiot

Femmeboys are males (or controversially trans men) that try to look like women or wear feminine clothes. Some of them even take estrogen. But usually they have no interest in socially transitioning, it’s just the feminine appearance they are after.
From the arrest warrant:

Investigators identified an individual as the roommate of Robinson. Investigators interviewed the roommate, who stated that his roommate (referring to Robinson) made a joke on discord. Investigators asked if he would show them the messages on discord, he opened it and showed several messages to investigators and allowed investigators to take photos of the screen as each message was shown by Robinson’s roommate. These photos consisted of various messages, including content of messages between the phone contact name “Tyler” with an emoji icon, and Robinson’s roommate’s device. The content of these messages included messages affiliated with the contact “Tyler” The content of these messages included messages affiliated with the contact “Tyler” stating a need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point, leaving the rifle in a bush, messages related to visually watching the area where a rifle was left, and a message referring to having left the rifle wrapped in a towel. The messages also refer to engraving bullets, and a mention of a scope and the rifle being unique. Messages from the contact Tyler also mention that he had changed outfits.
A "joke?" That interview was conducted after Robinson turned himself in and they found out who he was where he lived. Might have something to do with the roommate being "fully cooperative."

To be honest, the language she uses reads more religious than anything. She has several degrees in Christian leadership from Liberty University.
Really what do you expect her to do… The religious people just view their politics as an extension of their faith. She’s posting Bible verses and vowing revenge against “evildoers” etc, she’s inherited this massive organization that essentially needs a new “pastor”.
I don't read much politics on 2p2 (on purpose) but wanted to check in on this thread. Is condescension a common theme for posters here?

I don't know why this is always a debate. Guy shoots at trump is clearly left. guy shoots at kirk hes clearly left. if a guy shot at obama im pretty sure he would be right!
I remember you turds were arguing thomas kirks was a republican because at one point in his young life he clicked a box

A debate can be useful because the "big tents" are larget enough that ultra radicals on the extremes might very well want to see normal people in the same tent dead. If Obama gets killed it might be someone from the left that didn't like drone assassinations being normalized by him for example.
And sometimes the assassin, even if the target is a prominent political figure, might not have political goals (not in the sense we mean them).
The debate to investigate motives is reasonable and necessary. Ofc tribes will clinch to what helps them more when the situation is confused and unclear. I am ok with the groyper hypothesis having existed, for a while it was if not "clearcut" at least possible, so why not entertain that possibility as well?
Problem is people who don't follow things in detail will get the answer they want and then stop there. Which is what appears to be the case now, decent portion of the left still going with "see? he was MAGA!" at least on italian twitter (becaue of the family photos with guns).
Anyway from the data we have NOW, it's clearly someone who, being born and raised as a social conservative with low political engagement, as a gay who partnered a trans, might very well have hated Kirk for the specific anti-homosexual and anti-trans claims he propagandized.
TIL Kirk and Floyd shared the same birthday
George Perry Floyd Jr. (October 14, 1973 – May 25, 2020)
Charles James Kirk (October 14, 1993 – September 10, 2025)
I saw a couple where one guy showed the video of kirk’s assassination on repeat to a class of 3rd graders, and another where a guy said he thought every single member of Kirk’s family down to his dog and tenth generation deserved to die.
Idk what the punishment for doing that should be but losing your job as a teacher seems very reasonable tbh! Definitely don’t do that.
I get that some people really hate the guy but that’s just unhinged behavior no matter who the target of such vitriol is. So in all honesty if we’re talking about those (in my opinion fringe) cases I just don’t see how they thought they could get away with stuff like that.
There was also a case of an Office Depot employee that got fired because they refused to print a poster for a vigil, claiming it was “propaganda”. It was literally just a photo of him with his name and his birth/death date. Like what? Why she thought she could do that and keep her job is beyond me.
I do think it’s a little much to have a Charlie Kirk database, but I guess it is what it is.

Fact is rules should be clear. That's a very important element of a civil society.
In a "freedom of contract" country like the USA, employment rules should be clear about what, if any, limits to the employee speech are allowed *OUTSIDE THE JOB* .
Now what you do WHILE WORKING can uncontroversially be limited and controlled by the person or institution paying you, that's a very different topic.
Teachers going political in the classroom is an easy example of something that can and should be sanctioned in general so that's not the main topic imo.
We are talking more about writing on social media "i am not ok with political violence but i am happy that Kirk, a nazi, died" and variations thereof. So clearly not incitement (legally) yet "reprehensible" (morally).
Can you lose your job because of morally reprehensible yet legal uses of free speech *outside your work*? I think the answer should be "yes if the contract of employment covers for that, no otherwise".
You should know when you take a job if and how much of your freedom to speak outside your job you are forfeiting, under "reputational" considerations for your employer, in a clear way.
As for refusing service to people you disagree with, you know my stance is the classic liberal one: you should never be forced to bake the cake, and it shouldn't be limited to religious exceptions.
A business (outside monopoly considerations) should always be allowed to refuse service to anyone, to discriminate, without legal repercussions ever.
After all Kirk repeatedly said the civil right act (for the portions that apply to private entities) was a disastrous mistake, and he was perfectly correct in that take.
Now if an employee at home depot decides to discriminate against company policy that's a clear violation of that employee relationship with his own employer so of course he should be fireable if the company wishes to. But if home depot as a company decided to discriminate against Kirk posters it should be allowed to do so.

My main point is its always someone so young that no matter what they did before they clearly did an action that overrides anything else anyway. While they are often just batshit crazy, in their current state of mind they clearly have a preference because you can't just shoot someone and throw your life away without strong beliefs.
If a known left winger shot gavin newsome tomorrow. I wouldn't say he was left wing . I would say he had a change of heart
i have a feeling that this won't apply to people fired because of their comments on Kirk death
