I was wondering the same thing. He just can't help himself. First he says he says to be careful what he says or he and Fox could be sued, next he says this.

Also, no signs I could see of a stroke.

It's a dumb thing to say because it just makes it harder to empanel a jury. But these sorts of statements obviously won't be part of a trial.

I always wonder if these guys truly believe they will get away with it or they just think they are sacrificing themselves for the greater good.

I just asked my wife exactly the same thing. I have no idea how you could expect to get away with something like this, but I imagine that a most of these people are obsessing about the act and spending relatively little time contemplating what the consequences will be for them.

Pretty much all conservatives in prominent positions are. If you just look for the best scientists or lawyers or doctors you won't get any christian nationalist conservatives at all.

They have the technology to create realistic Mission Impossible style masks that can completely obscure people's faces. They're just expensive.

What does this have to do with whether a person who isn't wearing a mask expects to get away with this sort of crime?

DailyMail is showing pictures of the suspect and a brief bio. I guess you cant always judge a book by its cover. But he looks and presents nothing like a leftist. It does not appear as if the title of this thread is going to age well.

Considering anyone who does something like this is pretty crazy to begin with, I don’t think it’s a particularly crazy mindset to be like “I’m going to try my best to get away with it even though the chances of me succeeding are pretty slim.”

It’s not like the chances of pulling it off in the first place are that great to begin with.
