Seems fine. If he wakes up with AA, KK, so be it unfortunately. A lot of the time this will be AK and we're flipping for a big stack - sometimes you just have to find a good spot and take it - tournaments, especially mid to late stage are defined by these moments - win three or four flips, and you're on your way to the final table.


You played the hand perfectly. Keep playing it like this going forward and you'll win plenty of tournaments.


I think nothing wrong here.. QQ is strong enough to 3b/call off at these stacks every time.


I think the raise sizing pre-flop is too much. I would make it 8.4 bb's (4x the original raise size) with one caller.

I don't think it matters much as UTG was going to jam with QQ+/AK anyway and I think we have to call with QQ in case he has AK or possibly JJ/TT/AQs.
