that game at TR became brutal anyhow. almost no action. loaded with rocks. it was 1/2 or 5/10 for me there in the past 2 years

but i also haven't been back since maybe February

I haven’t been in a few months, any movement on tournaments or still just a bunch of tables sitting there gathering dust?

I saw on Bravo first tournament is 12/30

I’m sure they will have some issues but anyone who plays and can let us know how it goes it would be appreciated

How are cash games here these days for 2/5+ NL?

I've tried the room out the last few nights. The tables have felt like they were filled with regulars, then again, I went on Sunday and Monday night. I was wondering if the games are any softer on a Friday or Saturday night.

I am new to playing in-person, and mostly have played online, so perhaps I am the amateur recreational player everyone else is looking for...lol. I feel like I am better than average at the game, but I am looking for the lower-than-average table so I can get an edge. Do such games exist at Bally's Lincoln?

I haven't been there in a few years, but most of the low limit games (1/2 or 1/3) were pretty soft loose-passive.

The casino is 18+ so you get a lot of college kids on weekends.

Plus, one key points about live games compared to online, your opponents "didn't drive all the way to the casino to fold" so your open raises preflop need to be bigger than you're used to online...5x vs. 2.5 x for example.

Just a heads up for anyone who is interested. This weekend they changed the buy in for 1/2 from 60-300 to 100-500. 2/5 now has a 1,000 cap buy in, I apologize but I don’t know the minimum at 2/5 nor do I know if the 5/10 game was changed.

I was also was told by a dealer that the tournaments that run on Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to move to Fridays and Saturdays “very soon”.

The 1/2 game that I was in Friday night played much different with the 500 buy in as you could really tell people weren’t used to playing with deeper stacks but others may have had a different experience

Saw this on Bravo Poker. Looks like tournaments are going to be on Friday and Sunday. Sundays work great for my schedule so I’m excited about the idea of being able to play in a tournament without having to take time off from work.

Basically the 1/2 buyin is now what the pre-covid 2/5 buyin was, and the 2/5 buyin is now what the pre-covid 5/10 buyin was... and we're now much deeper at every level

I enjoy the deeper stacks at 1/2 plays differently

There is opportunity to bluff the regs due to depth

They just expanded high hand hours. I may be the worst reg in the room
