2/3 BigO8 JdJc3c5s8d at BB

7 player at 2/3. UTG (600, nit) straddle 5. EP (300, average), MP (400, very experienced), CO (300, average) and BU (500, laggy) call. I (600) check my monstrous premium JdJc3c5s8d at BB.

Flop (23=30-7): Js4h6h

Checked to MP who leads with 10. BU, I and straddler call. My plan was to check-raise a good turn card...

Turn (63): 9s
Action is to me. Shall I lead 70 or check-raise?

You said your plan was to check-raise a good turn card. Leading seems so unnecessary I don't even understand why you ask.

Got a gutshot to the worst straight, and can deny a free card to the low drawers out there, make the others fold a potential better hand on the river, so leading might not be too bad, considering there will always be the possibility of a better hand than a set of Jacks on the river.

With this logic you always reveal your hand by betting out of flow.

Oh I thought we were playing vs donk Russians who don't care about what others have but whether they have an AK or AA 😀
Thinking about this again, our bet is likely to be called by hands that can cause us trouble and utilize a one sided pot bet to make us fold on a low card, so might be better to keep the pot small and check/call in a defensive mode.

This is exactly why this forum is so frustrating.
