TR - July 31-Aug4: The comeback LOL
This is my 7th TR, but last year probably doesn't count since there was no real report. I'll post a couple quick stories
Crushed the itinerary today, but not great at taking pics on the family vacay- a lot easier on the other trips.
Hit the Paradox Museum after Gen BBQ, pretty fun and lots of laughs on a few attractions - definitely recommend for a good hour of entertainment.
Next up we did the night time big bus tour, we thought it was a hop on and hop off over 3 hours... turns out it was about a 1 hour 45 minute drive around the strip (sourh to Las Vegas sing) to downtown with some history. 5 out of 10 unless you are brand new to Las Vegas - would not do this again. Girls took some pics, but i took zero. Lol.
After that, we hit the linq zipline - elevator was scary as hell, but the zipline was decent. It doesn't move too fast, but overall, a decent experience.
Busted down a brownie sundae from Ghirardellis on the promenade after and before dinner. Lol. Had in n out for that, place is ok, but just a factory. Cranked out over 100 orders in maybe 20 minutes - well oiled machine.
On the way back to the room, we stopped for a street show on the corner of the Flamingo - somehow I got pulled into the show... was a good time, and the fam loved it.
Back to the room now to crash. Was maybe going to play some poker, but been up since 6am.
Corny, but cool - planning to get matching $10 koolsville tattoos tomorrow it sounds like to start day 2.
Totally sucked at pics all around - my bad! but got the details in the text.
Maybe steal some pics from the girls and post later.

Girls' pics of you in the street show, please! Also, is Gen Korean AYCE? Have you been to others to compare it to?
Thanks.

For some reason all the uploads of their pics fail - they have iphones... maybe thats why? Transfer doesn't work???
Only have Gen BBQ, 2 locations in Vegas and 1 in Hawaii... all 3 great, but nothing to compare to.

2 big hands making the difference... from notes:
Q9dd cutoff, make it 10, button calls
Flop T43dd... I bet 10, call
Turn As, I bet 50, buttons shoves for 120
Has to have an ace... I gamble and call 70 with maybe 3 to 1, bad call. AQ for him.
River blank
89ss Hijack make it 10, same guy from before in cutoff calls
Flop 2s3sQ
I bet 15, he calls
Turn 4, I bet 60, he calls
River Kd... I tank bet 140... he tank folds and shows Q spades... LUCKY!
And probably not even a good play. Just representing AK, KK, or AA only there I guess??? Could be A5ss, or other sets too, but he's only seeing the K.
Been up 400 to up 200... now bout up 315 or so.
Should be heading out in about 30 or so for the concert.

Well ****... lost 185 on a flip.
Utg 10, utg+1 calls... im in cutoff with AK make it 45... guy ships for the 185... I call against QQ. Did not improve. Booooo!
Now up only 130.

Finished up 90. Weak sauce.
Heading to Park MGM for Bruno. Let's go!

Bruno can sing and dance, but I was more for less underwhelmed, specially for the price tag.
My kid loved it so that was the goal, but I was ready for it to end an hour in. Lol!
I loved his music when he first came out but I guess now I'm just old. Haha.
It was just really slow at times for me.
Hit Panda Express after and called it a night.
Today's plan - ride the coaster at NYNY, prime rib at south point and the WOW Show at the Rio, finishing up the night at the neon museum.
Probably try to take in the fountains too, haven't done that for a while.

NYNY coaster - super fast to get on and ride. Fun ride, not very fast other than the firsr drop and not as rough as I remembered it about 15 years ago or so.
We hit universal for a week this summer, so nothing compared to those rides.
Kid had fun and the wife was panicking a bit going up. Lol! Said she woulda paid money to not ride it. Haha. She doesn't really ride coasters normally, but Vegas baby!

I've been on that a couple times and it really is a great coaster.
think I want to ride again my next trip
Wow Show was also decent. Mix circus with America's got Talent with a tiny script. Recommend for the price on the pass, but not sure about full price.
Little craps session while waiting - lost $5. Played pass line 2x odds with 2 come bets with 2x odds. Got up 90 and had 3 numbers working, 7 took it all.

Neon museum - also on the pass. Very lame imo. Only like 10 light displayed and a bunch of signs not lit. Everyone says it's great, but complete waste of time I thought. We were there maybe 15 minutes, but driving to and from. Would not pay a cab or Uber there for sure!
Atleast we did our 6 go city activities - $144 for all. Good deal I think.

Finished the night up with some pistachio ice cream from Cafe Americano, Ben n Jerry's chocolate shake, strawberry cheesecake and pizza slice from Sbarro... no pics again. Lol
Tomorrow either Tacos El Gordo or Guy Feiri trash can nachos before heading back home.
Played poker for 3 hours +$90
Video poker for 5 minutes to get free drink before Bruno concert -$4
Craps 30 minutes -$5
Gambling total +$81. Winning, LOL!
Total trip cost, probably around $5k though. Much cheaper solo with just the boys Gambling and drinking, but we had a lot of fun and made the most out of everyday for sure!

So glad you and the family are enjoying it. We are planning a trip next year with the boys, but they are grown ups (will be 24 and 29) and will be playing poker with us 😉 We will definitely do a few fun non-gambling activities. Thanks for a few ideas.
Great pics in this thread. The prime rib looks delicious. Is that a double cut?
Hit Tacos El Gordo on the way out. Girls hated it! Oops! Now I know.

What? Who could hat Tacos El Gordo? LOL. They must not like any tacos -- or they like the American "tacos, " which don't count.
