My grad school roommate got hired to manage the original CostCo in Issaquah, and then they built him a new one to run in Oregon after that.
Said he learned more doing that in 8 weeks than 2 years in grad school.
I cannot imagine. He's living in Wyoming now doing freelance consulting.
