Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan

That’s the account where he’s 25%+ on all his guys haha

Pulled up Waddle at 45 so I could get my first pairing with him and Pearsall.

Purdy, Goff, Tua

Gibbs, Achane (21), Skat, Sampson, Shipley, Keaton

MHJ, Waddle, Pearsall, Flowers (69), Kupp, Doubs (165), Felton

LaPorta, Gesicki

Shhh!! That’s a secret. I can’t let the world know I’m not actually a flat exposure volume bro.

In a redraft slow

1/2 ppr .25tep sf 12tm

Obviously rb is more valuable in .5ppr, but given the amount of wr I need to start do I just hammer wr here and then take the upside guys at rb later

Feel like I just have to punt te at this point (maybe snag Loveland/warren)

Probably, I'm guessing WRs are just way better picks in this range than the RBs. I probably would have gone RB over Nico and then it'd feel better to pound WRs now.

But kind of like on UD, I view my goal is to start RBs in the flex, I'd think that'd be your hope here. In a perfect world, you're starting 4 RBs and 3 WRs each week.

Loveland/Warren would be big wins at TE.

What if 12th round Amari is who you need?

Is anyone taking Amari in the last 1-2 BB rounds - some spike week potential, maybe?

Yeah I had to make a call between Achane and Nico and the calf scares me enough that I didn’t wanna make that pick , but I probably should’ve and just gone Adams/Waddle/Hunter or whatever it turns out to be

I don’t think it’s bad in the last couple rds but I’m not doing it. Maybe a mistake

If you believe he's not completely washed, then it's probably worth a few sprinkles. I'd only do it with Geno or Giants.

final team

Lamar, TLaw

Jacobs, Pacheco, Tracy, ETN, CRod, Giddens

JJ, Jamo, Zay, Keon, Hollywood, Thornton, M Wilson, Chism

Kraft, Strange

Y'all are degens 😀

You have no idea.

Y'all are degens 😀

The degeneracy in this thread is insane. They've been drafting since the super bowl.

Since conference championship Sunday. 😆

I’m looking forward to a drafting break haha.

Heh 😀 I started researching Fantasy about a week/week and a half ago. Have done 5 drafts and maybe (just maybe?) one more? Not counting a couple of best balls which I know your guys are investing 1000's in. I don't get it? Best balls seem like the crap shootiest of all FF venues and all of FF is a total crapshoot/luckfest. I hope you guys have some sort of edge but I can't imagine what it might be other than weak recrational players but even then FF has such an enormous luck factor I could never be confident. Sharp best ball has to be in the later rounds banking on breakouts and guys with initial non-premium roles but even then I'd rather just bet on the damn games 😀

The biggest edge is recognizing it's basically a market game and being able to find players that are severely mispriced in either direction.

For example, Najee's ADP has settled in the 160-170 range, but unfortunately the majority of my Najee teams were at a much higher cost. This was a bad bye on my part.

On the flip side, the majority of my Pacheco teams were at a much cheaper cost than where he goes now.

I get that but ... but they could both go down in week one. You coulda got Lamb and McCaffrey for free last year and it wouldn't have helped you. I guess I just don't see the allure of draft and pray?

Turns out Laporta just came all the way back to me at 7.8 and I got him. Seems crazy bc I considered him 1 full rd before

I hate my team, jimmy lol. It's not bad, but I wanted different players.

Start QB/2RB/2WR/TE/Flex

Maye

Conner, Harvey, Jones, Skattebo, Etienne, Ekeler

Nabers, Puka, Reek, Golden, Mooney

Kittle

Plus D + K.

I kinda like it. Very strong WR and TE. Full, half or standard? Stronger with full PPR. I am very optomistic on Maye.

Full PPR. And ya, the players I ended up with all have upside, but I preferred some other options.

If Nabers, Puka, Reek all channel their upside, it could be sick.

Haha I was surprised at the approach you took, but I get it

I think i drafted 1 too many WRs probably

Hurts
CMC
Achane
MHJ
Tmac
McBride
Smith
Little
Pats

Bench RBs - Blue, Sampson
Bench WRs - waddle, Rome, Addison, Burden

Ya, I'd probably add one more RB and one less WR. But not drafting WR until round 5, you had to catch up. I like the group.

I preferred early RB, but I wasn't willing to force it from my draft spot. So just took the WR value, hit Kittle, and hoped for the best lol. I really debated Nico over Puka.

I hoped CMC would be there given Sleeper ADP, but I mentally knew he wouldn't lol.
