2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Whatever they were doing led to some sweet, sweet value.
Kyler, Penix
Breece (51), ETN, Mondre, Javonte, Dowdle, Keaton, Tahj
Lamb, Ladd, MHJ, Jamo, Flowers (70), Diggs (75), QJ (214)
Pitts, Goedert (166)
That looks like a DK draft lol.
Nice squad. Goedert at 166 is the lowest I’ve seen. Flowers at 70 is also crazy.
I said I wanted to get all the CD today, so I took him at 1.01 and Chase fell to 1.05 lol
I just did my first redraft draft this season. Its a 10 man 1/2 PPR league on Yahoo. 1 QB-2 RB-2 WR-1 TE-1 Flex league.
What do you guys think of my picks from the 7 slot? I started WR/WR, but I am wondering if I should have taken Jacobs over BTJ to have a stronger anchor for my WRs.
I had to take KW3 as my RB2, and some guy sniped Charbs from me in round 9. KW3 has potential to do well, but he is an injury concern. I got Ebuka in round 8 so that is a hard guy to pass up, given he could potentially even be the WR1 in TB.
Round 6 I took Pacheco over Ridley. That was more about strengthening my RBs, as I already started with two WRs.
Let me know what you guys think.
I think Pacheco over Ridley is okay in 1/2 PPR, but I really don't get the Burrow pick.
Maybe I'm overthinking from a BB mindset and stacking isn't as important in redraft. If you were just looking to secure a solid floor/ceiling combo at QB, then I would've taken Lamar or Jayden in the 3rd and then double tap RB at the 4/5 turn.
VN. Just make sure you get Burrow or it's all for naught.
The icing, of course, would be if Hurts/DeVonta were to fall.
The Allen drafter took hurts but I got Kyler, so it’s ok haha
Herbert, Penix
Kyren, Pacheco, Tracy, Braelon, Giddens, CRod
London, Ladd, Worthy, Waddle, Mooney, Tre, Slayton, Bech
Warren, J Ferg (151)
Kyler, Maye, Caleb
Breece, Swift, Tuten, Blue, Brooks, Kendre
Chase, AJB, DJM, Diggs, Pop, Horton, Malik
McBride, Henry
Surprisingly good considering the amount of DC spent at the onesies. wp
4 more teams after this one. Back on my 3QB grind for the rest.
Kyler, Herbert, Rodgers
Kyren, Breece, JK, Benson, Blue
Chase, MHJ, DK, Olave, Diggs, Keenan, KLS
Chig, Jonnu, Gesicki

Ideally in rounds 3/4 I was looking to get Hampton at 3 and then Daniels or Hurts in the 4th, given that Lamar, Daniels and Hurts were all available at the time. One guy makes a donk move to draft two of those QBs and it threw me off.
Had I not taken Burrow, I would have probably gone after TMac or Pollard. I wanted a good QB because this isn't best ball so I wanted to be fairly strong in the "onesie" positions.
I think once you miss on the t4 it’s better to just wait and grab 2 QBs late
Went with a lighter version of a hyper fragile build
Tlaw, Love, Penix
Hampton, Conner, Chuba, Kaleb
Nabers, Btjr, JSN, Downs, Mooney, XL, Dyami, Wicks
Loveland, Ertz, Likely
Waited about as long as possible on TE here
Caleb, Tua, Dart
Achane, Conner, Monty, Tuten, Ekeler, Blue
Nabers, Adams, Tmac, Waddle, Downs, Burden
Jonnu, Fannin, Theo
If you’re getting cmc/nico I would
If you can do Jacobs/Sutton for Nico/CMC, then absolutely. I'd still smash Gibbs/Sutton for Nico/CMC.
Baker, Stroud, Ward
CMC, Bucky, Kaleb, Sampson, Mixon (174), Keaton
Evans, Waddle, Ridley, Golden, Higgins, Malik, Renfrow (RNG)
Kraft, Chig
