2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
I was disciplined and passed on Tua at 167/170*, but we did end up with everyone's favorite Triple D

Dak, Darnold, Dimes
Jacobs, Breece, Pacheco, ETN, Blue, Pierce
CD, JSN, Waddle, Diggs, Burden, Horton, ADM
Njoku, Strange
Spoiler
*I also may have forgot I had Waddle to stack him with.
No Mahomes?
How much exposure you have is really a product of your risk tolerance, but I do try to cap my exposure more on the guys in the first 3 rounds or so.
Mahomes had four games above 23 fantasy points last year. When they win games relying on defense, they don't need him to get into shootouts. I'm ok on fading him.
RIP Coker (fml)
Renfrow resurgence szn
Oh whoops haha, didn’t click into your spoilers new guy
I literally ****ing just clicked Coker in a slow. Over XL too. **** this game.
I will not be clicking Renfrow. I'll be clicking more Tet, XL, Dowdle, and Sanders.
I have renfrow in that 14tm dynasty league haha, so I’m hoping he looks good bc I desperately need future picks
Trying to draft as much CD, London, Waddle, and Pacheco today. Got the unique London/JT start, but definitely didn't mean to end up with Nuk. Should've been a 3rd TE.
Kyler, Penix
JT, Henderson, Pacheco, Tuten, Blue, Keaton
London, MHJ, Waddle, Mooney, Godwin, Tre, M Wilson, Nuk
LaPorta, Likely
Goff, Stroud, Geno
Bijan, Hampton, Charbs, Skattebo, Marks
Jamo, Waddle, Olave, Addison, Pittman, Doubs, Noel, Bech
Bowers, Fannin
Both of those look solid.
I just drafted this Milly I like. Lots of value. I have 8 more to go to hit my goal of 50.
Spoiler
Kyler, Penix, Dart
Cook, Kamara, Conner, Etienne, Allgeier, Tucker
Nabers, London, Reek (40), Jakobi, Kupp, Burden, Wilson, Slayton
Goedert, Chig, Higbee
And then my final $3 $1.5 mil.
Spoiler
Jayden (46), Caleb (123), Tua (166)
CMC, Charbs, Mondre, Sampson, Rodriguez, Monangai, Pierce
Reek, Egbuka, Waddle, Odunze, Godwin, Lane (autoed at 195 lol, but probably worked out about the same), Dyami, Roman
Bowers, Loveland
Both are really good. How can you say no to Reek at 40.
That’s a wild one. I think something like that, not quite as extreme, could work if structured better.
If Bowers and Mahomes were replaced with RB/WR, it’d be less dead. And if Godwin was a different WR.
I think something like a 4-5-5-4 shipped one of the Puppies last year.
Just did another guillotine. This time I was a 2cnd pick out of 14. Went okay I guess? Although I felt worse about this one than any other draft so far. Yahoo projections seem to like it and they have me 3rd on week one so hopefully I survive 😀 Gonna do one more tonight and then that is it. 5 leagues is more than enough to try to manage.
1. (2) Bijan Robinson (Atl - RB)
2. (27) Omarion Hampton (LAC - RB)
3. (30) Ladd McConkey (LAC - WR)
4. (55) Xavier Worthy (KC - WR)
5. (58) DJ Moore (Chi - WR)
6. (83) David Njoku (Cle - TE)
7. (86) Bo Nix (Den - QB)
8. (111) Bhayshul Tuten (Jax - RB)
9. (114) Keon Coleman (Buf - WR)
10. (139) Christian Kirk (Hou - WR)
11. (142) Keenan Allen (LAC - WR)
12. (167) Woody Marks (Hou - RB)
13. (170) Geno Smith (LV - QB)
14. (195) Pat Freiermuth (Pit - TE)
I hate the depth aspect of these 14 teamers but that is the nature of the game to add on each week as heads roll. I am a 100% guillotine rookie but it seems like the part of fantasy I like the most. Hopefully I don't make any grievious mistakes. I think I will take one of the cheapo teams and be very ultra aggressive on the wire just to experiment with approach. Depending on injuries, busts etc. I plan to be cautious for the most part with fab and try to get a read on the other players. I am really curious to see how these things play out.
Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of that team in Guillotine. I really like both Omarion and Ladd, but drafting two players on one offense in your top 3 picks seems like unnecessary downside risk in this format.
Tuten has a lot of upside, but if he hits, it'll likely take some time to get there. He could be a tough hold as you're battling on the wire.
Worthy at 55 is great. That's way too cheap. He should have a nice floor and ceiling while Rice is out.
Just a nice solid well balanced stacked Puppy.
Spoiler
Fields, JJM, Love
CMC, Achane, Charbs, Dowdle, Giddens
Evans, Wilson, DJM, Golden, Addison, Doubs, Thielen
Loveland, Taylor, Waller
This one is also decent, but I think I like the one above more.
Spoiler
Burrow, Fields
CMC, Breece, Tuten, Gordon, Tahj, Monangai
Tee, MHJ, Pickens, Jauan, XL, Horton, Bryant, Dyami
Warren, Kelce

Thought I read in this thread last week that elite QB is good in redraft? I've always struggled with QB in this league as EVERY team rosters a qb2. Figured I'd give elite a try but it pretty much took my rb2 money
Allen
CMC, Ford, Pierce, R White, brashard Smith
CD, Tee, Addison, Mims, demario, wandale, Horton
Kittle
My final guillotine draft. I had the 10 spot out of 14 and this one seemed to go pretty well and I feel better about it than any of the others. For what its worth yahoo graded my draft an A+ and has me ranked for first place. Getting JSN in the fourth was a steal! Plan was to take a RB there but everyone else was grabbing them and JSN was just too juicy to pass up at that point.
1. (10) Malik Nabers (NYG - WR)
2. (19) Josh Jacobs (GB - RB)
3. (38) Tee Higgins (Cin - WR)
4. (47) Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Sea - WR)
5. (66) D'Andre Swift (Chi - RB)
6. (75) David Njoku (Cle - TE)
7. (94) Kyler Murray (Ari - QB)
8. (103) Tank Bigsby (Jax - RB)
9. (122) Keon Coleman (Buf - WR)
10. (131) Colston Loveland (Chi - TE)
11. (150) Najee Harris (LAC - RB)
12. (159) Xavier Legette (Car - WR)
13. (178) Sam Darnold (Sea - QB)
14. (187) Blake Corum (LAR - RB)
I have draft fatigue and am ready for this season to start! Hopfully I can navigate the murky waters of guillotine as I am very interested to seeing how this format plays out.
Oh snap. Currently in 1st in R3 of MLB. Still a ways to go, but at least I know I had a shot.
