Thinking about a civil war really doesnt make sense. This is becoming a dirty power struggle. I don't think it matters what side you are on, you might be upset at what one side is saying at the moment, but instead of some civil war, think Brazil... where losing a power struggle means jail, losing your wealth. On the sunnier side of things, I really don't think a civil war, in really any regard, is going to happen. The overwhelming majority of people aren't us. The don't follow politics, they work, wait for their paycheck and splurge and hope to do the wife or the girlfriend thing. The rest are the olds who just want to look at nostalgic AI FB posts and reminisce their last days while heavily medicated in their recliner.
Almost everyone is either too comfortable or don't care enough. Plus, the geography and local communities is mixed and tied together too much for it to not be anything other than cluster**** of stupidity.
On the darker side of things. There is nothing that the libs hate more than Maga. And Maga knows this. And there is nothing that Maga hates more than them.
But the thing is, is that we see this hate on every page of every thread in these forums and on the news and people should have chilled the **** out years ago, but it's become a highly addictive sports ball match for everyone and I don't think they can help themselves.
But if I had to speculate, I'd say that there is a good chance that we kind of peak out with the hate in the near future and folks start to either tune out of politics a bit more or start learning that it will be a much better to try to get along with people a little more. Or not, who knows.
