I can understand some people breaking under pressure, and i can understand that being willing to take human life can be pressure. That's an argument to select people for those roles better, not to avoid having those roles. And btw, what if using violence purposefully to improve society actually... makes you a better person? I know not everyone considers the founding fathers good

Except literally nobody in this conversation is arguing that violence should never be employed. But it should be employed with utmost care and discretion.

GoT as a model of people actually liking violence a lot, and so they do pretend when they claim otherwise. GoT as the revelead preferences of actual human beings vs what they lie about when they speak

So, America needs more folks to like violence a lot?

Amazin'!

You can’t be this dense.

One would think. But the evidence shows...

Are you aware of the concept of fantasy? Do you understand that a fantasy is not something you actually want to do?

I am a classic liberal, pragmatic libertarian, more libertarian than normal rightwing people but not a purist libertarian and i never claimed otherwise.

I said more than 10 times already that my model is the amount of state interference in society that the USA and Australia had in the second half of the 19th century. Single digit taxation and so on.

That situation basically created the robber barons with ~90% of the wealth being owned by ~10% of the people. Lots of people suffering in abject poverty and not really enjoying the fruits of Liberty. When you have workers getting into gunfights with biz owners do you really think that makes for a stable society? Just to try to satiate the malignant greed of a tiny few? All of that eventually led up to fdr btw. And it appears we're speed-running into the same scenario again.

what the leftist propaganda ex post called "robber barons" were the people who single handle allowed the USA to become far richer pro Capita than the rest of the American colonies. they were the only reason you surpasses Canada Argentina and other places.

liberty isn't about enjoying the fruits of someone else labor you commie.

liberty is about having a chance. if you are great you prosper otherwise **** you, the next one can come forward.

when you have workers gunfighting with owners society has a problem. you solve it brutally killing all workers who attempt that so they don't try again, which is what the USA did.

FDR came and raped the country without limits. we are still healing the wounds. this times for the first time in 90 years, we are reversing some of the brutal unconstitutional monstrosities he did.

and there is a long way to walk from that's a lot of stuff to cancel from FDR and his "big society" successors.

the trend is good, but a lot will depend on 2028 elections ofc

Luciom wants 19th century levels of education for poor people and for them to leave school young to work as chimney sweeps and to shine his shoes for him, graduating to manual labour on a production line six days a week so that the goods he buys are nice and cheap for him.

He doesn't want them to learn any history or else they might take up arms against him and throw him in jail.

I fundamentally disagree with the idea that fantasy is something you don't actually want to do.

I think it's something you fundamentally want to do but you are too scared to attempt in real life because of a variety of reasons.

or do you think people watch porn but they actually want to have plain vanilla sex with their obese partner and would prefer that?

No, that's not what fantasy is, you fool.

At least he admits all of the Republican rhetoric these past several years has been complete bs when it comes to claiming to be in favor of reg. working Americans. Maybe he'll get a different perspective when his family goes into the grinder. But it is kinda funny that the America he currently hates is the direct result of his heroes running things lol

I don't think it has been bs, at least from some places. I think Vance and Hawley and others actually believe it. I think they are wrong and marxists in doing that but if it works to get the vote, and they end up voting a way i agree with, that's good enough for me anyway.

Keep in mind in the make up of the BBB there was a lot of pushback against medicaid cuts. And aside from working requirements, they didn't cut much if anything. In my model, medicaid disappears tomorrow.

Sure because when you call Mortadella "boloni" that's fair instead? or "capuchino" lol

Jeez Luci is a city slicker? I figured he'd be out in the country sniffing olives or grapes or something not libbin it up in town.

Mortadella is a sausage; we say capuccino; baloney is what you speak.

And those aren't people's names,
