I would probably flat with 88. Profitable to play for a set and low and other good flops. Flatting is profitable, even though you have to fold on most flops.

Probably fine to gii. The wheel card flop results in a lot of semibluffing. Any ace is a straight draw, etc.

But seriously OP, don't worry about how much of the bar is blue or green at the bottom of the box ... look at the giant amount of grey that is the rest of the box.

BB should call more than any other positions, your 3bet size is bad (even with $10 open there's ~$33 in the pot, and you 3bet to $50 -- shocked you got it HU). Looking at GTO responses for UTG vs. BB at 100bb is dubious at best. Flop bet size is huge, even if GTO does it sometimes.

Also, and I'm not trying to be mean, but wtf were you thinking about for 3 minutes?

1) If we're going to 3-bet here, I would prefer a much bigger sizing. We don't really want to go 3-4 ways to the flop OOP. When there is a raise to $15 + two callers, even a small-ish raise would be to $75 (15x3 = 45 + 15 + 15). Add to this that you are out of position, and I could easily see going $80-$85 here.

2) Not sure if $100 into $150-ish is a good sizing here 3-ways. We can still get value from 66 and 77 and A-high hands with a backdoor or something. But being multi-way I am thinking this sizing might be a bit too big, especially as they can easily have hands like 99 and TT as well.

3) The reason 88 has a much higher calling frequency is likely because it double blocks opponent improving his most frequent draw on this board (open ended straight with 76). The fact that you have 88 makes it much harder for him to hit his hand.

Nice Hand regardless. I am guessing opponent had 66 and just went with his overpair to the board + gutshot on flop.

Edit: I see now that you later mentioned opening raise was $10. Still think you could have have gone a bit bigger though being out of position, at least $60-$65.

On this wheel card flop, he can have a lot of pair plus draws, etc. 66/33/A2/A4/A5/AQ, etc. Any ace is a straight draw plus at least overcards.

Most of what he is shoving on a semibluff you are way ahead of. You are crushed by a higher pp, a set, or a straight. I would be more worried about a higher pp, because a set or straight might flat call in position.

Risky 3!ing 88 like this, particularly at low stakes where 99-QQ usually flat calls the 3!

Did you run it twice and he didn't show because he lost both times?
