Vegas Cash Game Bomb Pots
Any low-level NLHE or PLO cash games in Vegas doing hourly or half-hourly bomb pots these days? If so, are they all doub
To see a flop in a 1/2/5 PLO game almost always costs $20 - $50 minimum, so seeing two boards for $10 - $25 is a no brainer for me, especially when I have a lot of droolers at my table. It's incredible when it's a NLHE game w/ PLO bomb pots.
I guess if you are losing a lot in bomb pots, you are doing it wrong and maybe you should sit out.

Yeah, but you're paying to see a flop no matter how bad your hand is.
The biggest reason I sit out is I think Omahahaha is a stupid game with too many cards. I have no problem with those people playing it, just don't make me play it.
Venetian has had a $3 bomb pot game going almost every day. Everyone sucks at bomb pots, it’s honestly incredible. Yesterday I got in KQ54cc on 623r/AJ4cc vs 9823r for stacks. I got scooped, but wow what a dream!
I was in a Omaha bomb pot at a home game recently...
I flopped the wheel (nut low, with A4 on 532).
I got 1/8 of the pot, as four players had A4, two of them had also had a 7 for a higher straight when river hit a 6
ended up losing like $200 in a hand where I basically had the nuts. dumbest hand I've ever been in

Straights with no redraw are bad in bomb pots and you should just fold the flop with A4 on 532. Your hand can’t improve, it’s easy to get quartered or freerolled, and you don’t even have the nuts. It’s not “basically the nuts” it’s basically like having second pair in a hold em bomb pot and putting all your money in.
Ironically, this post is exactly why DBBP hands vs NL players are so great.

A2345 is the nut low.
my 4 is a blocker to a higher straight (the nut high)
I would say the odds that three other players also have A4 and two of them have A47 is pretty remarkably low.
if you "just fold flop" on a flopped wheel in Omaha hi lo with no flush or pairs on board you don't know what you are talking about
this was a single board hi lo bomb pot.
anyway, I do like the bomb pots at Venetian and did very well with them my last trip and I look forward to playing there again in a few months
just sharing a little anecdote about a related experience that was very strange. thank you wj for the condescending reply
