I mean I think the problem is Tarkowski moving towards the ball to block it. If he's standing still then I'm fine with an overturn as the rules are stated, but he isn't, so stands imo

That's a harsh pen and it's coming from someone who would love to see Everton go down AND had a bet on Leeds tonight. Just hate to see stuff like that decide games

This world is about money, so when you are offered those millions you take them. Few people will ever earn so many. I am one of the few fortunates who do. I may be one of the worst buys in the history of the Premiership, but I don't care.

lol, what a legend he would be. Still reminds me of Benni McCarthy at our place - always on time for training, first on the team bus, has a doctor's not for the slightest sniffle, utterly indifferent to playing football. A true professional.
That was a proper Moyes performance last night - invite a supposedly inferior side onto you for 90 minutes and do **** all in attack. I don't think it was a penalty but if you are going to let them attack all night then you can't be surprised if they score, and they should have been a goal up already.
That should never have been given as a penalty by the referee because he couldn’t have been sure, and so it should have been left to VAR.

So he shouldn't move to try and block it in case it hits his arm?
He can move to try and block it, but play with fire and you might get burned. It is not as if it is hit at him at point blank range and cannot get his arm out of the way, he's voluntarily put it there
I wouldn't piss on Winter if he was on fire but if he's right on what the referees are told to look for then it looks pretty clear cut. Not that I care as Everton got what they deserved for such an unambitious display.

Isn't the ref being told it's a penalty? Could've sworn the ref takes like 5 seconds before he gives it and it looks like someone was talking in his ear.

I’ve said before, and I’ll repeat that I am very happy with the signings we’ve gotten over the line so far.
But I’d be rather disgusted if we give Trossard a new contract for no reason at all (more money when he’s already on 90k)while giving Spurs a free run at Eze.
I hope we’re not leaving ourselves exactly one player short like we’ve done so many years previously.
