In basketball this gets called a moving screen

But still lol man utd

Looool

I’m seeing now how somehow there’s a worse goalkeeper than Onana in United’s squad and that’s why Bayindir is the backup.

How the **** is the fat Brazilian still getting games?

Well at least Utd should be pretty decent going forward this year

United strategy pretty simple. Get ball find Mbeumo and pray he produces magic.

Mount has played a couple of nice passes, which probably makes this his best ever game for them.

Glad Dorgu missed there, I have him on the bench.

lol at the lack of free kick there, if the Mancs had scored even I would have had to agree with the complaining from DS and jalfrezi.

Frank Lampard watching this Mason Mount performance

We were average at best this half. Odegaard needs to up his passing game a bit, some bad decisions going forward

Saliba better stop playing around too. End of last season he had some shockers and he almost had another one this first half.

Is Gyokeres trolling or what? What a shocker of a debut. Just relax and score a hattrick man how hard can it be.

There is just way too much talent in this squad to be playing like this. Inexcusable.

Never mind the bollocks, here's Slabhead

Reminiscent of me watching Man City at Maine Road. Their tactics were “give it to Kinky” and watching him attempt to dribble through the Wolves defence. They lost 1-0.

If Man Utd can play like this they'll be just fine this season.

Yeah going to pretend this game didn't happen and it's just week 1 jitters and bla bla bla cause if this game is a reflection of things to come I don't want it. What a hideous style of play. Like watching a Mourinho coached team.

Agreed. They should've scored a goal or two.

I have just screenshotted the FPL league table as I was, for a brief moment, top.

**** your models.

That's happened lots. Watching the replay I have no clue why the ref didn't call anything in real time given how blatant it was.

Really not sure about these arse "inspired by Jorge Campos" warm up tops

Usually its just a line where the wall should be and a mark from where the free kick should be taken.

Never seen a line drawn where the kickers players can't breach

We could call this a pragmatic win, but in all honesty we were horrible.

Unlucky United. Cunha looks like a great signing

And with two sick notes on the pitch that I expect to break down.

I think what this did prove is why United shot their shot for Baleba and why they badly need at least a promising backup if they can’t move on Onana. I’m hoping that they get their **** together and make a fast move for Hjumland (as he’ll be cheaper than Wharton and Wharton will be as difficult to pry away from Palace as Baleba was from Brighton).

**** me that was one of the worst games I’ve seen them play under this manager. Flukey wins count.

He has to get his shite together or be replaced next summer imo.

The reffing was bad in a mildly annoying inconsistent way (friendly home whistle/non whistle) as opposed to the completely egregious getting obvious important decisions wrong way that drives me nuts.

We played pretty bad and honestly some of the worst performances arsenal have had compared to their baseline have been away at OT the past 3 seasons. Just the one away game we seem to play down to the opponent. We were bad today in a way that was unusual (terrible passing accuracy) so it shouldn't be something that is a reoccuring theme.

Cunha and mbuemo do look quite good and should improve United's floor even if they were gross overpays. Thank God sesko was anonymous and I can avoid the gyokeres v sesko commentary. Id be more worried about the gyokeres performance if the entire team also wasn't playing bad in similar ways.

3 points at least, chalk it up to bogey ground hopefully and arsenal looks good vs Leeds next week. If not I'll start to get worried.

We were bad going forward. We were at best average in defense. Zubimendi looked good - Rice/Gyokeres/Saka/Martinelli all looked like they have led in their boots. Odegaard had a bit of spring in his step, but misplaced like half of his passes.

We were also lucky not to concede a pen when Saliba took out Fernandes from behind. I thought that was a clear pen, and I would have been livid had it gone on at the other end.

United looks really good compared to last season, btw. If they could get a solid keeper, I'd be really worried. The same goes for Chelsea, really. A new keeper would move the needle there, too, which is weird as it is usually quite a low-impact position.

Farteta: 18 years? 22 years at Old Trafford without winning before I came. Now I go into the dressing room, we won and they’re not happy. It’s a good sign.

I'm now convinced that this man can't do simple addition.
