Hoopie - were West Ham as bad as the result?

Top of the league lads

The dream is now over.

Wissa to Newcastle and Isak to Pool incoming imo

Reijnders is the new cheat code.
Could well end up being the record price riser in FPL

am i the only one who looked at the bloke managing Sunderland and thought that was Guy Poyet who came back after a youth cure?

Good start for both my bets :p

Lol what?

That was a foul? What is this nonsense?

Robbed of a genuine lol Sanchez there

Brutal for EZE. Was a cracking goal that deserved to stand imo. Remember the BS that happened to him first game last season as well.

VAR bailing out that horrendous Chelsea goalie. What a joke of a decision.

Kinda hilarious how English refs softer than ever.

Disalllowing that goal on the opening weekend is a crazy precedent to set for the rest of the season.

Shoulder to shoulder and doesn't even raise his arm. I don't support any club or have any money on the line and I'm genuinely angry at that decision

Where is Cole Palmer, bro taking up £10.5m in my FPL and barely seen him.

Did raise his leg for him though, making it impossible for him to resist the shove, otherwise I'd say Caicedo should just have been stronger. Clever foul.

Goal was disallowed because Guehi was too close to the wall lol

Rules are rules I guess?

Arent opposition players literally standing in the wall like almost all the time?

was there a rule change?

PGMOL made a rule they won't ever let Eze score on opening day again.

That just feels like an excuse to cover their arse. Can't remember that ever being implemented before

Yeah I’m pretty sure they could call that every time. Will be interesting if it is enforced consistently. It does reduce the ability to craft weird set piece gimmicks which I’m actually not that mad about.

Yes.

No physical presence in defence, no pace or creativity in midfield, no transfer budget. Years of mismanagement have come home to roost.

Really hope they'll start drawing lines of player to wall proximity.

Wham going for the parachute payment.

Only if it's Eze. Have never in my life seen this rule being enforced ever.

Haha now the ref is marking a line to show have far they have to stand from the wall. That's never happened for sure

That's happened lots. Watching the replay I have no clue why the ref didn't call anything in real time given how blatant it was.

Really not sure about these arse "inspired by Jorge Campos" warm up tops

At this point I’d be totally in favor of just scrapping VAR completely.

Set piece FC are back
