2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Team ended up ok, minus drafting 2 w12 bye QBs by accident and having to add Darnold/MVS
Daniels, Herbert, Darnold
Jacobs, Skattebo, Dobbins, Ekeler, Sanders
CD, Ladd, Flowers, Jeudy, Downs, N Brown, MVS
Laporta, J Ferguson, Goedert (fell to 149, just felt like he was better than the players around him)
You could have probably gotten away with only Jayden/Herbert. I do it at a very small clip at both QB and TE.
I’m about to finish a slow Puppy where I drafted Stafford, Geno and Darnold together haha.
Allen, AR
Kamara, Swift, Tracy, Charb, Blue
Nico, London, Terry, Shakir, Mooney, McMillan, Pierce, Whittington
Warren, Kincaid, Higbee
Ended up with 3 QBs on this one.
Caleb, Tua, AR
CMC, Swift, BRob, Javonte, Shipley, Mattison
Reek, MHJ, DJM, DeVonta, Pearsall, McMillan, ADM
Loveland, Goedert
I built this one weird where I took 5 straight RBs from rounds 5-9. I might have even be able to add a 6 RB and stop at 7 WRs if I wanted.
Spoiler
Jayden, TrevorConner, Harvey, Monty, Mixon, EtienneNabers, London, Davante, Burden, Kirk, Wilson, Dyami, BrownStrange, Ertz, Jonnu
Also did this one, which was just cromulent.
Team 1) This is my favorite QB build...An elite with a solid but inexpensive second QB. Harvey probably will get off to a slow start especially if Dobbins stays healthy. Right now it sounds like Dobbins is the number 1 but it should be a close split like 54/46. Probably give Jaleel 5%. Harvey was not a good pass protector in college and my concern is he could screw up a couple times and lose some touches early. The Mixon situation is scary but I think he'll be alright. Still I think Conner, Monty and Etienne should be strong enough to get you by.
Team 2) I think Dart is a wise choice especially with Nabers on the squad. Tua is good enough to stop at two but he is fragile. The rest of the team is solid as well.
Very happy with this 0rb squad
Lamar, Purdy, Stafford (176)
Pollard, Jones, Dobbins, Tuten, Allgeier, Sanders
Puka, AJB, Flowers, Olave, Burden, Nuk, Mccloud
Kittle, J Ferguson
Should I have gone with Troy Franklin as another week 17 bring back or Noah Gray? I felt Gray was the pick given how often Engram gets hurt. I would have liked having an 8th WR with the Rice situation.
QB) Mahomes, Love, Lawrence
RB) Breece, Conner, T Henderson, Bigsby, Shipley
WR) Nico, BTJ, Rice, Golden, Coleman, Doubs, Pierce
TE) Engram, Sanders, Gray
Me too. I actually emailed support to complain. Maybe they'll give me a $4 credit.
Feel bad for the people in my room though, because it's gonna be the full 8 hours for every one of my picks.
Haha fair
20 sec clock is back
Nice 5x wr start here
Dak, JJM, Tua
Swift, Monty, Warren, Tuten, Sanders, Dowdle
JJ, Reek, Tee, DJM, Pickens, Slayton
Loveland, Ertz, Theo

Gray was probably better than Franklin, since Engram/Sanders is pretty light. You have 5 WRs who should be running a bunch of snaps to start week 1, plus Golden who I also expect to be pretty involved from the beginning. Nico/BTJ especially gives you a nice Rice buffer. And I know you’re really bullish on Franklin, but there is no guarantee he’s running a bunch of routes to start week 1.
Nice. I've tried a few 1-1-1-1 starts before. They can be fun.
Keep trying to join the CFB BBM, but it's not filling.
I bought NCAA 26 and I quickly realized I only know MSU players (Alma mater) and the 2 stud sophomore WRs haha
So I will not be doing any college best ball
I'm only doing 1 team for now. I don't know players other than some of the top QBs and Gators. I plan on stacking FLA, maybe doing a 4-6-8-2, and then trying to have some W14 correlation with my QBs.
Finally maxed a new UD contest (chihuahua 2)!
Here are my exposures 323 post draft contests in
Overall pretty happy with it. Maybe too much Giddens, Saints, and Dimes. Rashee was almost all r3+, so not as bad as it could’ve been
Jonnu was at the absolute worst price possible haha

I'm not betting on Franklin to be an every week set and forget type. I do think he will have several blow up games due to catching bombs from Bo. Also, it sounds like he may not just be a one trick pony which will hopefully get him on the field more. His added weight will give him more opportunities for the quick WR screens they like to run. If he can block for other receivers he'll get his opportunities. I think he is a great last pick for best ball. Also, if I am going into week 17 with him as a bring back it would be very exiting knowing he could go nuke that game. I agree in this configuration grabbing Gray was the right move.
I think Bronco pass catchers will be frustrating to own in season long leagues but will be nice best ball picks.
If Engram can somehow stay healthy I think a thousand yard 10 TD season is not out of the question. He is the perfect weapon for Sean Payton.
I went a couple RB's early along with an elite QB so my number two and three WR's might be a bit dusty. They may surprise though.
I didn't get the memo that Likely broke his foot. The good news is I got him two rounds later and it sounds like he'll be back early in the season and maybe even week one. My plan was to just draft two TE's. Shultz should be on the field so he can step in while Likely is out. This may actually end up being a blessing in disguise. I would have preferred another WR but I think I have enough dusty dudes on my squad.
I grab Hurts any chance I get and he fell to a nice value. The guy in front of me took Higgins so I knew I wasn't gonna get Burrow. I like grabbing the Brown, Chase stack to go with Hurts instead of Burrow. Most people have Chase/Tee/Burrow.
QB) Hurts, Geno
RB) Brown, Irving, Charbonette, Stevenson, Najee, Shipley
WR) Chase, Meyers, Diggs, Pittman, Kupp, Kirk, Thornton
TE) Kittle, Likely, Schultz.
