AQ on Q84r, river call vs unknown (Zoom 10NL)

AQ on Q84r, river call vs unknown (Zoom 10NL)

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

Hero (CO): 100 BB
BTN: 119 BB
SB: 100 BB
BB: 109 BB
UTG: 100 BB
MP: 100 BB

Preflop (Pot: 1.5 BB)
UTG folds, MP folds,
Hero is dealt A Q
Hero raises to 2.5 BB,
BTN calls 2.5 BB,
SB folds, BB calls 2.5 BB

Flop (Pot: 8 BB): Q 8 4
BB checks,
Hero bets 4 BB,
BTN folds,
BB calls 4 BB

Turn (Pot: 16 BB): 5
BB checks,
Hero checks

River (Pot: 16 BB): 2
BB bets 13 BB,
Hero calls 13 BB

Villain is unknown with ~20 hands:
VPIP: 25
PFR: 13
AF: 2.3

---

My thoughts:

- Flop cbet for value/protection vs worse Qx, pairs, and draws.
- Turn check for pot control and having some strong TP hands also.
- River call vs Qx or missed draws.
- Playing Zoom, so no reads beyond basic HUD stats.

---

Questions:

1. Should AQ barrel turn more often?
2. Is this river call too thin?
3. Whats your play?

Thanks

I think solvie world is going to check roughly half the time. 10NL against someone who is likely a bad reg, I'm betting the turn almost always.

There's not much opponents should want to be betting on the river for that sizing, so probably a theory fold, but I don't think calling is bad, and probably do myself.

Very easy triple. As played, raise the river for value.
