Bernie did have some authoritarian ideas about executive orders but I had my doubts that he would actually pursue them. Warren no. That’s why many on the center left supported Warren over Sanders.
Reducing the size of the fed gov't means less power for him. He is giving power to states to make more decisions (abortion, education, etc.). He is giving people more power by lowering their taxes. In giving more power to the people and every state he is not intentionally not giving it only to his supporters.
Undermining the courts and Congress and concentrating power is the executive branch is not a reduction in power for Trump. It's almost as if you never read the Project 2025 manifesto.
Regardless, you can't laud the moron for being ultra productive for all his executive orders in his first hundred days and his unconstitutional bullshit he is doing and then make such a claim.

It has been tried in the past, but the problem is anyone qualified to join ICE is probably already qualified to join another agency, and they would rather join those other agencies. You can’t just throw money at this problem.

They already have been. Also even if you do that, you need to be able to retain them once the hiring freeze opens back up. You also need to not lose agents to retirement/recruitment to other places in the interim. You also need to be able to expand it rapidly enough to actually accommodate the growth that you want.
Again, it was tried before both by Biden and Trump.

Why would they need to pay them so much ?
Surely if illegal “steal” all the great jobs Americans wants , it shouldnt be difficult to find people getting a good salary while helping to “clean” the country and afterwards get those jobs backs ?
Oh wait…maybe jobs the majority of immigrants occupy (trump isn’t aiming much only those that are illegals…😉 aren’t appealing to be filled by Americans anyway ….
