President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

he is the republican party today.

and people who didn't complete highschool disapprove of trump more than those who had some college as per the economist data.

and you know why, because the people at the very bottom of IQ and education in the USA are overwhelmingly non white in a disproportionate way compared to ethnic proportions in the population.

then the fact that trump has more support from minorities than any other republican could credibly be just a product of that demographic trend you noticed lol

but nah I don’t actually buy that they’re “overwhelmingly nonwhite”

You'd be surprised. If you read a book on the history of gambling, you'll see 'smart people' inventing all sorts of systems to beat those games.

Oh yeah?
How did that end up for them?

Because democrat namecalling came in the form of stuff like "Nazi" and "Deplorable" instead of cool things like Lyin' Ted, Crooked Hillary, and Sleepy Joe.

Though, you can mostly blame this entirely on the stranglehold the Clintons had on the DNC in 2016.

It is funny to think about how dems have spent the better part of the last 10 years calling trump a nazi (a group most well known for trying to exterminate jews), but now he's helping the jews of Israel too much. I think this mentality of everything trump does is the worst thing to ever happen on earth also helped him win as well.

Another great example of dems flip flopping on **** trump did was dem politicians saying they aren't taking the "trump vaccine" for covid and then flipping to any repub who doesn't take the vaccine shouldn't have a job or be allowed to socialize in public.

I also think the fact that the media said bad things about trump for 23 hours a day for a decade, dem politicians talked about impeaching him for what seemed like every few months, they tried to get him for a bunch of felonies, they tried to take him off ballots and he survived an assassination attempt also helped. America loves a good underdog and he is the greatest American underdog ever.

No.

It's because "we" are a racist mysoginistic stupid gullible people.

Nobody who has ran for president of the US in our lives has done more to reduce racism in America than Donald Trump. This isn't even debatable.

My theory is that this is just another rhetorical technique to blur lines between truth and lie. The bullshit factor

Sure. I fully expect to hear:

I didn't write the picture. (LOL. Everyone knows that you don't write pictures. You draw them.)

I didn't write the note. (LOL LOL. Everyone knows it was it was typed.)

I didn't ask anyone to send the card on my behalf. (LOL LOL LOL. Everyone knows that I don't ask people to do things. I tell them to do things.)

Literally no one ever said they weren't going to get vaccinated because it was a "trump vaccine." You read too much right-wing propaganda.

[cue the kamala harris clip that they intentionally twisted]

How many do you have?

Two. Is that enough to make me not a racist?

by Rococo

Is this observation supposed to be some sort of endorsement of Trump? This has to be a joke.

This observation is required to start admitting Trump isn't president because voters are racist, which was the absurd claim i countered.

What is the contradiction between some people voting for him for his racism, some people voting for him for his misogyny, some people voting for him because he’s stupid, some people voting for him because they like his policies better than the alternative, etc?

People can vote for him because they like that he’s more racist than democrats and he can still make inroads with minorities at the same time. There’s no problem with that.

Murdoch is infinitely more calculated than Elon but I think Trump is the most powerful person in the world by a large margin and could probably make Murdochs life a living hell for the foreseeable future

I think that if you think about it a little more, he is the second not the first mst powerful person in the world.

While the USA as a country, and the USA gvmnt, is indeed the most powerful of the world, Trump only has extremely partial control over it, compared to Xi in China.

Xi has something very close to complete, absolute control (in a way even Putin could even dream of) over his country. The only practical limits are his own mortality and lack of time basically.

Thanks for proving my point.

Is that sentence of baba's i quoted too long to make his undertitle,?

You all already changed my profile gif. Now you want to change my undertitle too?

Its legitimately one of the most ridiculous statements that has ever been uttered. Literally ever

I've had personal conversations with minorities I work with who lived here their whole lives, largely without incident, who now feel unsafe because of the rhetoric that Trump has pushed for 10+ years

Even in 2018 when I was trolling the libs for overreacting I made comments about how the country definitely feels much more comfortable being horrifically racist because of the paradigm set by Trump

Its an objective truth that racism under Trump is mainstream

There are certain recurring position types that are essentially patterns. That is, there are particular recurring arrangements of the chess pieces on the board that suggest strategic and tactical considerations applicable to that type of position. For example, one pattern called "the vulnerable back rank" in which the king is in a corner square with a row of pawns in front of

Your chess example certainly doesn't seem like it would be difficult to recognize. Easier than just learning the rules of chess.

By my definition no one who would even look for a system to beat craps or roulette is intelligent. Of course I'm talking about betting / pattern systems. Not looking for anamolies in the dice or roulette wheels which definitely could be exploited.

I guess we just have very different definitions of intelligence.

Nearly everything in this post is backwards.

But I'm particularly wondering how you think that Trump has reduced racism.

by chillrob

Your chess example certainly doesn't seem like it would be difficult to recognize. Easier than just learning the rules of chess.

I purposely gave a simple example. There are hundreds of patterns that a chessplayer learns almost exclusively from experience. I chose an example that could be easily explained and easily understood by someone who only basically knows the rules of chess.

By my definition no one who would even look for a system to beat craps or roulette is intelligent. Of course I'm talking about betting / pattern systems. Not looking for anamolies in the dice or roulette wheels which definitely could be exploited.

I guess we just have very different definitions of intelligence.

The most crackpot ideas often come from 'smart people' like PhD's in Philosophy. 'Publish or Perish' can lead to pushing boundries.

Certainly these days nobody who understands probability theory is going to fall for a craps or roulette betting system.

I wasn't trying to 'define' intelligence; I was merely suggesting that one of the aspects of intelligence is pattern recognition.
