President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

Trump supporters can be broken down into 2 groups.Cynics - who know that the accusations against Trump are mostly true and his promises are mostly bullshit but don’t care for a variety of reasons, tax breaks, racism, nihilists that want to burn it all down.True believers….who think that democrats are the party of pedos and that they will be vindicated in their support of Trum

There is another category, which I would call the Trump worshipers. They love the idea of an authoritarian leader, but they are ambivalent about conspiracies and lunatic stuff. BJ is in this category.

BJ is decidedly NOT ambivalent about conspiracy theories, my guy. He eats that **** for breakfast.

Yep...

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-a...

July 16 (Reuters) - The Trump administration and its allies are trying to obtain voter data from states and inspect voting equipment, the Washington Post reported on Wednesday, in moves it said had caused concern among state and local election officials.

Remember when trump was yakking about fentanyl? Good times.

The Trump administration has delayed and may cancel roughly $140 million in grants to fund fentanyl overdose response efforts, according to four staff members with close knowledge of the process at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

He doesn't believe in conspiracies because he is interested in the idea of conspiracies. He isn't LB. BJ believes what Trump tells him to believe. If Trump feeds him a conspiracy, he believes the conspiracy. If Trump tells him that a conspiracy theory is a load of ****, he will believe that it is a load of ****.

Just plain old not the case. I have sparred with the guy a LOT. He will believe nearly ANY conspiracy. I'm actually a bit baffled by this take, to the point that I have to make sure: we are talking about Brian James, right?

Not Playbig? He loved conspiracies, but knew too much and flew too close to the sun, so the aliens/MiB took him away.

PB is a bigger conspiracy guy, for sure. He will swallow even ones BJ might balk at. Sometimes I wonder where they went, and then I remember how much better it is here and just smile.

I would agree if we were talking about Playbig. I had Brian James pegged as a guy who always agrees with Trump about whether a conspiracy is true or not. That leads to a lot of weird beliefs that are contrary to the evidence, of course, but that's an inherent problem with mindlessly parroting Trump. Are you remembering some instance in which BJ supported a conspiracy theory that Trump had dismissed (or dismissed a conspiracy theory that Trump had promoted)? If you are certain, then maybe I am misremembering.

Well vaccine crap to start. Trump is on record saying it works and is safe. 911, you name it.

I think the starting point of his beliefs surrounds something very specific and not at all tied to Trump. His 911 takes, disgust for Israel, and even the vaccine conspiracies are all specific to that one perceived threat.

I think BJ is a big anti-Israel guy which Trump is a big pro-Israel guy and has gone further to suppress criticism of Israel than most modern presidents have.

It works on some people, but his hardcore base is fractured over thisThis woman is a Trump psychopath that has been posted in this thread before. Viva Frei, whos tweet I posted earlier this morning, is another deep seated sycophant playing out the stages of grief live on his timelineMany people voted trump specifically for this issue

But they never cared about all the things he said he would do in 2016 but still hasn't done? Weird, but maybe they're finally waking up.
Not holding my breath though.

Jewish space lasers?

I think that we have found the cause of my misread of BJ. I rarely venture into the I/P thread because I have nothing productive to add, and I actively avoid vaccination and 9/11 discussions because the signal/noise ratio is so low.

I yield.

Why are you guys trying to rationalize MAGAs and conservatism in a nutshell, when in the end it's just a movement about ''this is our home, we white pure people''

by coordi

This is gonna sink Trump if he keeps doubling down.

MAGA also booed him for saying they should take the vaccine.

It’s a monster of his own creation but he doesn’t steer it to everything it believes.

Sure but that didn't make them stop supporting him.

liberals only allow this sort of rationalization when it comes to Israel I guess

Trump gonna try to fire powell.

Happy TACO Wednesday everyone!

Donald Trump:

“He’s a terrible Fed chair. I was surprised he was appointed,” the president vented. “I was surprised, frankly, that Biden put him in and extended him.”
