Why does the playover box have holes in it?
Was watching a high limit game that had a player missing. They had a plastic box over all their chips. There was holes in the top. Anybody know why a playover box would have holes in the top?

There were multiple holes on the top, like 6 of them the size of a quarter.
It may also be used to serve hot meals. In that case the holes would prevent the glass from steaming up...
If they are using those nasty ass playover boxes, that people are handling and which come in contact with filthy chips, to also serve food in... well, that would be a choice.
