you don't need to necessarily be rich, i think if you're mentally ill enough you can own a great watch. a common thinking is you shouldn't spend more on your watch than your car but i don't agree. you lock away your car in a garage, or you leave it, anywhere you go you're leaving your car behind. and when you're using your car you're only seeing the inside of it, imo cars are overrated. get a basic car for transportation and focus all your wealth into your wristwatch
