Thoughts

  • Villian has low aggression post flop, so I think most of his raising range is value
  • Assume villain would be calling behind w/ most draws
  • I was tossing up between cbet vs check, given range favours villain. Obviously, it feels bad looking back
  • I called on the flop, thinking I still have a lot of equity (I have it at ~30%)

I usually always check to the middle position/sb caller when i see at least two cards of J, 8, 7 or 6 on the flop unless i have a read that btn is calling mega wide and will be passive after my bet. 654 is similar enough to warrant an auto check.

As played, fine to call flop. You have implied odds when you make a straight, or you can make a backdoor flush. Sometimes vilain will give up turn with a worse hand.

Turn is a fold.
