Too bad that El Diesel didn't do something productive while playing poker!

For example, he could have had a very small tablet, and gotten subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal and Barron's and other business publications. While he was folding, he could have been reading & learning about business, finance, and investments.

If he has a 400K portfolio (which I am skeptical of), he is completely nuts to be living the lifestyle that he was/is.
