i can't emphasize enough how often you see this and whenever i investigate a new machine that has no public info on it, i always need to temper my expectations of when it's in a playable state

yeah bad play here being one that is probably not profitable in the long run
but having said that, there's a few machines in which you're given a choice of what kind of bonus etc and there are correct choices to be made but it's a minimal difference - when in doubt, always choose the option with fewer free games
ie 10 free games with 2 wild reels is not nearly as good as 5 free games with 3 wild reels - i suspect they have the 5x3 to meet rtp regulations but include the worse options in hopes some suckers go "oh more free games that's better"

I generally hate to dig too hard at Lexi Gavin Mather because I generally find her WSOP vlogs the most entertaining of the summer (in the absence of RDP) and she and Bob seem like very nice people, but I can’t imagine she’s a long-term winning tournament player with $700k lifetime, given how much she plays. I suppose, though, that actually being a winning player is not a prerequisite for being a poker “pro” and coach.
