TSLA showing cracks?
With TSLA going in the past few days from 130 to 110 and now back up to 120, it seems the market is a bit on edge about
Figure I'd update since it's been about a year:
So if you had a choice to put 50% of your net worth, is it BTC or TSLA?
I think putting half my net worth into any one thing is not a good idea, but considering were now months away from a halving? BTC please
---> TSLA $277.74 (+7.4%)
---> BTC $88,044.36 (+240%)
What do you guys think about LCID?
^lol
From reading his stuff, mindflayer is nowhere near all-in Tesla and can pretty easily afford to have that be a loser and not really feel it.
Dude believes in the company and is putting enough in to make it a big win if he’s right but not enough to make it hurt hurt if he’s wrong. Seems fine, imo.
Sounds about right.
I am sitting on a decent pile of cash, but that was supposed to be directed to my next RE investment.
As far as equities go, I was waiting for the signal below.
I want the Fear/chaos to continue for a few weeks. Will probably take 10% of the cash and buy more equities.
Currently looking for more stocks to buy at fire sale prices. Will not buy more Tesla unless it goes below 180 or so.
$239 Today. (had to look that up, because I was not following it every day like I used to.
Looking at AI chip makers, TSMC, NVDA and anything reasonable that gets a severe beatdown.
I will never be able to call a bottom, but if I manage to have some conviction on a stock, I will buy it in 10k increments
every week over a few weeks or months.
It is one of those Peter Lynch things... if the company is making cash and has no debt, and you believe it has value at X,
buy at 0.8x and keep buying at 0.7x and 0.6x etc. "I've never seen a company with no debt go bankrupt."
As per the old Warren Buffet saying
"Be fearful when others are Greedy and be Greedy when others are Fearful."
Berkshire is sitting on 334B of Cash atm.

Smart approach!
Keeping cash ready and scaling into positions with conviction is a solid strategy.
Love the Peter Lynch mindset too—patience really pays off.
Tesla (TSLA) as we currently know it, is dead as an automotive company.
Only a matter of time until the automotive division is sold off and renamed in an attempt to save it.
but FSD and teslabots! trust
the company might not have amazing prospects, but the stock could be anti fragile. im *hoping* the downward pressure on the price these last few months could make it sky rocket.
really have to think today might finally be the start of the downturn for TSLA/Musk; liberals and MAGA now both hate him, and he's going to have basically no political support for any initiative any more.
Tesla will never downturn as it has the relentless support of people with access to infinite money
These people have so closely tied their entire persona, and thus ego, to Teslas success that they can never change course
The bulls were right about literally nothing when it comes to the ancillary carrots that were meant to keep the growth narrative moving, but that clearly doesn't matter. The growth narrative is dead and they aren't a profitable company without emission credits yet its a 1 trillion dollar company with a 175 p/e
Tesla has 9 lives times infinity so i doubt this is the end but damn...
didnt know it went this far
President Donald Trump proposed ending Elon Musk’s government contracts and subsidies, escalating the war of words between the world’s richest man and the president he helped elect.
“Go ahead, make my day,” Musk posted on X in response to Trump’s threat. The Tesla chief then alleged that Trump’s name appears in the files related to the late New York financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sex trafficking underage girls and later died by suicide while in federal detention.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk wrote.
I remember on a poker upswing I went to short tesla for $50k as a total tourist back in like 2018-2019 and my broker didn't let me. God bless them I would have gone busto
Now I drive a tesla to pay my respects and pay the monthly auto pilot $100 and can chill and relax on the way to the casino without stressing about driving.

Maybe you shouldnt own a car if driving “stressing” u so much .
Musk announced that robotaxis are slated to begin operating in Austin on June 22nd.
CNBC article:
"Musk said Tesla will “geofence” the service, limiting where the Model Y robotaxis can initially operate, and that employees will remotely monitor the fleet."
Musk tweet today: "The @Tesla_AI robotaxi launch begins in Austin this afternoon with customers paying a $4.20 flat fee!"
https://www.forbes.com/sites/bradtemplet...
Not full robo. 4.20 still a steal tho.
That article, though very poorly written for a mainstream outlet like Forbes, was informative. For those not bothering to click it: The roll-out today has an employee in all the cars to monitor driving safety, is for invitees only, is only for daylight hours, is for a limited area of Austin that avoids tricky road situations, and is weather-dependent.
Robotaxi makes a 30 minute drive with no one in the car to deliver itself from the factory floor to customers apartment
"If you need a geofence area you don't have full self driving"
~Elon Reeve Musk 2019
The Austin demo had some minor hiccups:
- stopping in the intersection at Oltorf and S. Congress
- phantom braking, presumably for police car lights in an adjacent parking lot
- stopping in a left turn lane when passengers requested a safe drop off
- spazzing out on a left turn yield, and then driving down the wrong side of the road
It was interesting to see all the driving simulator cubicles in the background shot at the Robotaxi development office. I guess they're able to remotely drive the Teslas. That's ****ing scary. So at anytime, a Tesla employee, can go full Danny Devito Penguin and remotely operate your Tesla Batmobile and say, drive you off a bridge or maybe reverse into a lake and drown...
Yeah, I heard that originally the Austin roll-out was going to have remote "safety drivers." Instead they ended up having the "safety drivers" actually in the car. Having your car commandeered by the Penguin doesn't worry me too much, but I could definitely see them making sure that rides with politicians and regulators get remote drivers, assuring they don't experience the concerning FSD behavior that the average rider gets. I also wonder what kind of liability the remote drivers bring. If they're on their phones or goofing around when one of the robotaxis crashes, it seems like TSLA would be even more liable, due to preventable negligence, than if the unmonitored FSD crashed.
@grok - what’s the fair value of Tesla? would like to roll the Bitcoin profits in when I sell at 225-250k and Tesla lagging Mag 7 seems like the best big bet if autonomous / optimus takes off.
Musk going for 1 trillions wage package .
Thats the equivalent of every single worker in the US to pay him around 6k.
He surely deserve it , he works hard !
That will surely help the company and the economy.
Let’s give them tax break on top of that 😀 .
