Has anyone else had their number of hands slashed?

I've played for over 20 years and asked a couple of years ago how many hands I had. I can't remember when they started the badge thing. Anyways I was JJ as I had over 2,500,000 hands , being Supernova for many years. \
I got an email saying 4 million then a bit later I got another email saying 4,6 million. I played a lot trying to reach QQ but for some reason couldn't get it.
(I asked them how many hands I had and they said 600,000 and if I get another 4million + I will get QQ. I'm confused.
