I haven’t been following this race much. All I know is that Cuomo and the other candidates tried to make it a referendum on Israel which seems rather confused for a local election. He didn’t seem to have much of a chance before that.

I think it’s a mixed bag. Some of them are really bad, like the 30 dollar minimum wage. Some of them seem contradictory, like cutting down on red tape for building affordable housing while cracking down on landlords (which increases red tape significantly as landlords have to assess regulatory risk much higher than other locals).
I imagine he will get done about 10% of his agenda if elected, as it just doesn’t seem possible to do all of it. I’m not opposed to the social reforms he’s proposing even if I am skeptical of his economic proposals.

I have nothing to fear because I am not a low life. I will not be screaming and cussing at Ice agents. I will not be throwing rocks at Ice agents. If I am detained I don't run or fight back. It's probably not gonna happen because I'm in this country legally. I respect the dangerous and hard work these heroes perform. I detest the scum they have to deal with.

This is a highly charged environment we are in. People like the guy taking the picture are putting themselves into bad situations that can escalate like this. The officer shouldn't have pulled the gun in this situation. These guys do put up with a lot of crap and there are a lot of psychos out there who would like to hurt them. I think we have allowed citizens get a little too brave and confrontational. I'm not shocked things like this happen.

yeah running cuomo is just going back to the old hilary/biden/kamala playbook - they've learned nothing and now they are going to lose the general election for nyc mayor because once most new yorkers realize just how much more they'll pay in taxes under him they'll turn to the republican
