NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: THE NY KNICKS ARE CHAMPIONS! BING BONG!
Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
troy murphy aint walkin through that door
OKC clearly deserves credit and was the best team itl.
But we were robbed of a great game 7 and that sucks as a fan. Cheers to a full recovery for Tyrese.
i have SGA to lead series in assists +500
even with 12-0 tonight he needs 2 more to get a push
You can spell GAS & SAG with SGA. Worst finals MVP since Namath in Super Bowl 3.
Well, that hurts, but in the grand scheme of tonight, it's pretty low.
Kinda crazy how much this is franchise altering for the Pacers. Win or lose, they just re-sign Myles Turner and run it back next year. East is wrecked, team did well, all good.
Now, there's a real question as to whether or not you actually re-sign Myles since he and Pascal will be aging out as Tyrese is coming back, and Nesmith is going to need a new deal by that point. Might be better off just letting him go and saying "meh" to next year while avoiding the aprons.
Don’t give me hope

I was thinking the same thing. No way they go into the tax now IMO like they'd been talking about, which would seem to imply Turner has played his last game as a Pacer. Now they have their pick for next year do they even go as far as shopping around Siakam?
could re-sign turner and trade him later, deal toppin to get under tax
Doris Burke is legendarily horrible
Imagine game 7 of the nba finals ending with 4 minutes of SGA fouled out and hali dead
Only question left is did McMuffin hedge?

Yeah, really not sure what they do honestly. Haliburton, Nembhard, and Nesmith are young, but Turner and Siakam are older (30ish) so there's not a lot of point in waiting a year to try and run this back.
The team, even without Hali is probably a play-in team with as bad as the East is, but why would you want that when you're not getting close to the Knicks, Cavs, Pistons, etc. without Hali next year??
lol let twig boy get behind you, great ****ing effort Pacers
not that it matters much but horrible 4th q to end this, whistle every 20 secs
Achilles, a central figure in Greek mythology and the Iliad, is renowned as the greatest Greek warrior in the Trojan War. He was the son of King Peleus and the sea nymph Thetis, and was made almost invulnerable by his mother, who dipped him in the River Styx, except for the heel by which she held him. This vulnerability is the source of the term "Achilles' heel," representing a person's fatal weakness.
