It seems like he comes online like every day, and most of the time losing 5k
5th out 10 left in the 50k HighRoller now too.

The action folded to Viktor Blom on the button who shipped all in for 2,105,000. Jason Koon asked for a count from the small blind and then flicked in chips to call. Andrew Lichtenberger folded his big blind and the two hands were tabled.

Koon held a dominating position and the flop of 10♣7♠3♥ put him even further ahead. The Q♣ on the turn was no help to Blom who was left drawing dead to the 8♣ on the river.

Pretty cool how he can just play whatever game is running at the WSOP on any given day and make a deep run.
I foresee some $50k PPC success in his future. Not necessarily this year, but soon. Guy seemingly has an elite poker mind (surprise surprise).

i think he has used his brain and realised NLH is dead and PLO also
he made two that i have watched good appearances in limit games - plus mixed game
i would say he has actually studied them hard and will win in either a limit or mixed game this series ,not sure how many days are left for that to happen.
(side note - id really like to see Blom win BIG - that guy gave so many of us so many great nights railbirding going from zero to hero - before that crew scammed him sharing hand histories with each other which i think was one of the turning points (downhill) for online poker - not its all AI/generators/RTA)
What a run he is having this summer:
4th in the 10k 08 for 152k
6th in the 50k hr for 350k
Cashed the 10k PLO8 for 21k
2nd in the 10k Limit for 188k
Directly jumped into the 10k Big O, and sitting 3rd with 26 left.
He had an amazing run last year as well didnt he? Probably the best intuitive poker player of all time.

I thought he would be pretty high up in the player of the year with all those scores, but nope, only 38th - I guess it must be weighted towards mincashes and/or wins, not making final tables consistently

I find it hard to believe that more people are not talking about Blom's world series. We have hundreds of posts about Tom being in the looney bin and Dnegs usual grating self, yet hardly anyone is really talking about the crazy good results Blom is putting up in the WSOP right now. Most don't even think of him as a tournament player, yet he has four FT's, all in different formats of poker, three in 10K 'Championship' events and one in the 50K. That is some pretty sick results. More love needs to be given to this IMO.
