Played the $250 mixed triple draw at Golden Nugget and we did an equal chop 3 way, with all of us taking a little more than second place money ($2980 each). 10% to Watbri and 15% to Oscar to pay them both for the pieces we swapped.
I did though lose the three way flip for the “win” but that’s ok - I was the shortest stack of the three of us.

So yesterday was had on 4 hours sleep as a result of jetlag’s incessant reluctance to give me any peace. Poker started at 6am with an unprofitable session at the Bellagio before heading to the Golden Nugget via Earl of Sandwich. The tournament finished in the early hours and after taking care of some stuff back at home, it was 3.15am before my head hit the pillow. The brutality that is jetlag had me wide awake at 6am with little chance of respite.
Today is gonna be a struggle I suspect. The WSOP senior’s event was pencilled into my schedule for today but it’s looking unlikely that I’ll have the desire to play that now. The $2.5k mixed triple draw on Friday is now my likeliest first WSOP event. I’m sooooo tired [emoji42]

Hahaha wish I kept any of it, think I left up $50 after 11 hours. But it was loads of fun.

That was a rather swingy morning session in the Bellagio…….
Guitarist sat down and one thing we can never be accused of is soft playing one another. I straddle to $6 and Guitarist on my immediate left makes it $20. If folds round to me and before looking at my cards, I tell him that I’m never folding so I’m only looking to determine whether I call or raise. I look down at two black Kings and, with the meta game in full force, I ship it for a full buy-in. He calls and I collect.
A coupe of hands later I call his open with 69dd because….. well, for no justifiable reason whatsoever. I flop a flush draw, turn the flush and scoop, cracking his AA. Life, at this stage is good, until this happens…
There’s an open to $12 and we go 5 way to a J53ddx flop. My pair of black threes has flopped a set. Pre-flop raiser c-bets $12 (lol) two callers and I make it $45. One of the caller then raises to $110, everyone else folds and I ship it. She calls quickly with J6, no diamond. The board runs out 4d, 7d and she has runner runner’d her way into a straight with 4 diamonds on board. Took her a while to turn j er her cards too.
Anyway, if I have to lose 5% of the time in this spot, let’s just hope the next 19 times go my way.
In other news, Ryan is in the $1500 freezeout, Oscar late reg’d the $10k razz and Watbri is battling the crowds in the daily Deepstack. I think I’m gonna head over to the Orleans for their TORSE tourney hoping to keep the mixed games success streak alive.

But I’m sooooo ****ing tired. This is the text message I sent my wife an hour or so ago (around midnight in Las Vegas)….
I feel awful. I can’t see the cards. I’m doing star jumps between hands to get blood flowing to stay awake. I haven’t eaten since lunch time. I’ve had 7 hours sleep since I left home at 6am Sunday morning.
