That wouldn't be just a protest. It would be criminal activity (were applicable), as it is criminal to block a road in many jurisdiction.

And i mean it is indeed a crime in California as well , looks like. People blocking bridges were arrested, indicted and prosecuted for doing that (both in 2016 and in 2024).

Italy just made it a more serious crime as well. The UK did as well iirc.

Now when facing what a jurisdiction has determined to be an actual en flagrante crime, you have a range of options, and you know i am very much in favor of more violence to solve that quickly than most others are.

But the idea that it's bizzarre to consider blocking public infrastructure a crime is... bizzarre itself. It is a crime and it is not a violation of the 1a in the USA to tell people to liberate the road, bridge, or train station or whatever.

Now again you can think my take in general against criminals is too rough, and i don't deny i prefer a draconian approach against en flagrante crime (i totally endorse that). But it's not because of "anger or emotion", it's rather because i think that would achieve goals better.

With the goals we should all agree we are after is to have as few crimes being committed as possible, while respecting all constitutional rights.

Because I don't need to debate whether God is the vessel for your hate speech or not and I never post in RGT. It actually took me like 30 seconds to even figure out what you meant by RGT, but if you start a thread in there I will engage your tardoness over there.

I could be wrong (maybe for the hundredth time today alone), but I don't think psychologists use "******ed" even as a clinical term any more. Maybe an expert can chime in on that.

I was born in Queen of Angel's Hospital in Los Angeles. It was later torn down. Not sure if the two events are related.

I don't remember. It may have been when I registered for the draft just after my 18th birthday in 1975. (n.b. the draft itself had ended, but registering for the draft was and is compulsory.)
