President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
Like i don't understand what you don't understand, everyone should just immediatly stop committing violence when law enforcement is ordering them that, how can you not agree with that?
I haven't seen anyone not agreeing with that, like nowhere.
i thought the order was clear (and ofc every specific situation will be slightly different). You get ordered to interrupt your violent actions, given a very small amount of time to comply, then get warned again that you will be stopped violently if you don't interrupt the violent actions and let you be arrested without resistence, then again small amount of time, you still don'
Well I don’t understand the terms you are using and what you are saying we ought to do normatively. To me again this is just adding more confusion because now it seems like there are some extra intermediary before lethal force is applicable that weren’t included in your last post.
And also it’s not relevant what criminals should not do because the whole point is we’re talking about how police should respond to criminals.
Not shooting to kill would be a good start.
So there are some decent people left in the USA/'WE WILL K*LL YOU!': Florida sheriff has a message for would-be leftist rioters. NOT IN FLORIDA."If you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at. Because we will K*LL you, graveyard D*AD. We're NOT gonna play.""If you spit on us, you're goin
Lets go!
Everybody should be on board for this.
We ain't playing no more!
Don't be obtuse.
Don't they?
No. They argued to a trial court that a statute was unconstitutional. That happens all the time. They weren't denying the existence of the statute or somehow saying that the statute "didn't count."
Trump is apparently preparing an EO to allow illegals who work in farms to stay in the USA
Which shows that, from Trump's perspective, this has exactly **** all to do with some sort of principled opposition to people being in the country illegally.
This move is easy to interpret. Farmers in Republican states didn't want their workers deported, so the workers won't be deported. Restaurants in LA don't want their workers deported either, but that doesn't matter because those restaurant owners mostly oppose Trump.
The really ridiculous move will be if the EO is drafted in a way that excludes farm workers in blue states like California. Then Karoline Leavitt can explain in the next press conference that Trump-branded pork chops are essential to the national interest, but grapes and almonds are not.
not at all
look at the most obvious examples of corporate control over their employees in the form of company towns
european designed company towns put a far greater emphasis on a high quality of living
this is bournville, the cadbury company town literally included fancy gardens etc

here is the housing today

not fancy by any means, but it's a solid house with a yard etc etc and they can go through a stroll through the public gardens or send their sick children to the hospital and educate them at the school
compare that to gary indiana

and those were massive upgrades, those buildings replaced this

or pullman illinois

again, far worse conditions, very similar to public housing etc
if you lived in a company town in europe you were living a lower middle class or middle class lifestyle, if you lived in a company town in america you were destitute
shame on you for comparing the two and then equating the unrest which was necessary in the us and not in europe as the reason for the differences today
i can't speak for the modern era and as american it is my civic duty to not give a flying f about european social issues, but historically they are very different - we had a generation of robber barons exploiting cheap labor from destitute immigrants that came here with nothing and were desperate for work, any work they could get and europeans instead had to offer nice living and perks in order to attract workers - completely different situations
Luci viewpoint is the mainstream guys. and fwiw Dems itt had the same notions on Jan 6th.
you throw a brick ..[snip].. we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at.
theres the idea that what the USA does abroad often comes home. wonder if these guys were trained by the IDF as so many police in this country are. the same IDF that the Dems funded and supported as they shot thousands of kids for throwing bricks or rocks for decades and are now committing the most brazen genocide in history. its real weird seeing Dem slappies post Auschvitz memes in this thread.
